I plan to take a 3-6 month holiday after my period of notice. I fancy a bit of 'me' time without having to look for work. I won't 'sign on' for benefits till after the 3-6 months but will live on savings. Questions 1) can i delay 'signing on'? 2)what about NI contributions and tax for the 3-6 months? Thanks in advance.
