What should I do next? santander has 'lost' my money.

It appears that santander has lost £10,500 from my savings account. A few months ago I got a letter from santander saying that as per my instruction they had made an international money transfer for the above amount to a person I dont even recognise. I have never made an international money transfer before and that is more than four months salary for me! . It appears that the amount was taken back and deposited in my current acct twice , so no net difference. But the amount has then been taken out of my savings account. I cannot understand how this has happened. Neither does santanderI reported it to the fraud section of Santander and they only checked my current account and wrote back saying they have no idea how it happened. I have again asked them to check the savings acct and although they can find that the amount ahs been taken out of my acct they have no clue how it has happened. Whenever I call them they keep saying they will call me back but they never do. The bank manager has no interest at all. as far as I understand an international money transfer cannot be done unless one goes to the branch. I cannot understand how santander cannot find this out. I really dont know what to do and would welcome some advice please as I am totally frustrated now. What should I do next?
