Medically Unfit For Work

Thank you for your answer Mike regarding my husbands health issues and leaving work due to this. My husband is 55 in Feb and had been employed by his company since 1971, he leff for a couple of years then returned in 1979. The company pension was stopped a couple of years ago due to bad returns and it is a final salary pension. The company are looking to make redundancy's so not sure if it better for him to take normal redundancy of to leave on medical grounds. I will look at his pension and also get a pensions forecast. Thanks very much for you time.
