I have an ex-pat friend who is returning to the UK from the United Arab Emirates in the new year. He wishes to bring his 4x4 Range Rover (4 year old used car, approx value £20,000) back with him but is unsure of the procedure for registering the vehicle in the UK eg. insurance, V5, MOT etc.and whether there would be any import tax/VAT liability. Please advise?
