Am I really missing out on thousands in mis-sold PPI refunds?

I received a cold-call from Lifestyle Claims, asking me for banking & loan information over the phone in order to establish whether I was eligible to claim falsely sold PPI's. They said they could get me (in some cases) thousands of pounds. It wasn't just about PPI money, they also said they could look at up to 36 other points of loan agreements/overcharging, including overcharging on mortgage interest. It was a very comprehensive sell, very convincing, backed up with information about how they are a legitimate company, with 'authorisation from the Ministry of Justice'. I looked up the website, but am sceptical about the value of such a venture & the reputability of the company. I asked lots of questions, all of which were speedily & comprehensively answered- very convincing sales tactics. Is it worth investigating whether I have been mis-sold anything or overcharged & if so, should people use a company like this or go it alone?
