I'm looking for 40gb or greater download allowance with the cheapest cost & smallest term contract. For both phone & broadband.

I will never use the landline.

I've signed up for an 18 month contract from Talk Talk for 12GBP/month for the first6months&then19GBP for the rest.

8GBP PCM if i cancel.

(8.5meg speed, 40gb traffic limit)

Anything better out there?

    You could try having a look at:

    * Sky - £10pm on 12m contract, unlimited allowance

    * Plusnet - £11.49 for 12m contract; 60G allowance

    * Virgin - £5 for 3m, £12.50 for 9m; unlimited allowance

    The above seem to be the only offers that match/better your current contract (although do your own reasearch on them because I could be wrong!).

    Check out the Which? Best Buy for Broadband and home phone bundle with Utility Warehouse. Prices start from £19.99pm which includes phone line rental of £10.75pm, so BB for £9.24. you can have 40 GB download allowance, OR if you take the Broadcall MAX you can have unlimited downloads for only £24.99.

    If you take out the 5% Cashback card and spend around £400pm on all your groceries and petrol and other shopping, you will get cashback of £20 off your bill, so effectively you have the Phone & Broadband for free!

    PS If you also switch your gas and electricity you will get FREE GLOBAL calls 24/7 which could be worth another £100+ a year.

    PPS No minimum contract, although there is a cancellation fee of £50 within the first 12 months
