we were given notice to vacate the flat by 4/11/10 we paid the usual monthly rent from 1/9/10 we found place to move to on 13/9/10 can we get refund

we ve been renting this flat for 8 years on a renewable yearly contract starting from March.we ve not had a new contract since last March. we were given notice requiring possession of the flat by 4/11/9 we found a place to move to on 13/9/10 but paid the rent from 1/9/10 to 30/9/10 can we have the rest of the month rent back as we will no longer be living there
