Some of my phone calls need to be to o844 numbers, banks etc. They used to be 0845 which are cheaper.

I am in contract with BT and on the best package for me.

Anyone know how to get around these numbers, which I may have to use more frequently in the future. I may not be able to use internet banking.

Thanks.

try searching for other numbers for the same company and work through the internal system ... might take longer though.

    Input the number here: http://www.saynoto0870.com/search.php

Hopefully they will come up with a geographic number.

The other alternative is to look for the number to phone from abroad

Mike is on to a winner there, I used that site just this morning for the first time to cancel my Experian membership. They advertise 0800 number but when I called it the message told me to redial 0844! I checked this site and they had a geographic number for the company :)

    Thankyou, especially Mike.

I have spent the last hour sorting phone numbers. What a fantastic site!
