Is anyone else struggling with Santander cash ISAs?

I applied for and got a Santander cash ISA months ago. However I haven't been able to transfer my ISA because they have sent me incorrect forms. My flatmate also got an ISA with Santander, yesterday she received her third incorrect transfer form. Gah! Anyone else struggling with Santander and ISAs?

Deal with the worst bank in the uk for customer service and thats what you should expect I am afraid.

Horror stories abound on the boards re these pirates, I am afraid its a question of do your own research before jumping into any company. Rate should be only one part of your decision making process.

Complain to the financial services ombudsman, via their standard complaint form downloadable on the web.

I didn't have any trouble with them ... all sorted out very quickly with no fuss.

And my Zero Credit Card too.

    Very happy with Santander.

I had my last year ISA with Abbey and transfer in from Barclays took a bit longer than would have liked with the transfer amount going in twice and out once, I am now in process of transferring out of Abbey as the bonus rates disappeared and am currently in the fingers crossed stage that it will all be OK.

And I just checked, the money was transferred today! I make that about 14 days from taking form in to new providers branch.

2 weeks to transfer is quite quick. They are usually quite efficient but, the same with everywhere, once things start to go wrong they do take time to correct things.

Thanks all. Wow @CaptainFlak, two weeks is very speedy! It's a shame that shoddy customer service like this has now made me feel too irritated to even transfer the ISA, but I suppose should really do it.

It did take me about the 17 days to get mine transferred but the money is earning interest from the time the account is opened and the transfer initiated.

Hence the transfer monies being credited twice and removed once from the account. The first credit is when they actually know how much your other bank is going to transfer and they let you have the money, the second is when it actually completes the transfer, then they remove their initial credit.

So although the actual transfer might take a long while ... you have access to real money during the transfer and it doesn't affect your interest.

    Sounds quite reasonable to me.

I've had no probs filled the forms in the branch about end of febuary. All the customers in the branch (and there was about a 2hr queuing time) were there to open ISA's. The advisor said they would be closing the variable ISA soon as they had reached there required subscriber amount. Maybe there just making it dificult for new customers? who knows.
