    There is no single best buy.

    It depends on whether you want instant saver, notice or fixed term and then for what period.

    transfers in do not count towards your ISA allowance for this year.

    I don't know if these are still valid, but I have opened two isas this year (one paid into and one that only has previous years tranferred in isas- so I'm not funding the second one htis year).

    The alliance and leicester one is paying me 3.5% and the Nationwide one is paying 2.8%.

    The reason I have two is that the 3.5% isa doesn't allow transfers in!
