transfers in do not count towards your ISA allowance for this year.
I don't know if these are still valid, but I have opened two isas this year (one paid into and one that only has previous years tranferred in isas- so I'm not funding the second one htis year).
The alliance and leicester one is paying me 3.5% and the Nationwide one is paying 2.8%.
The reason I have two is that the 3.5% isa doesn't allow transfers in!
