Looking for a joint mortgage with my fiance who is from China (working here permanently) - who would give the best deal?

My fiance has been here for about 2 months on a 2 year visa at the moment (but she will be living here and working here permanently). She has some small previous credit history as she went to uni here in the UK. I have been calling around lenders but finding it hard to get a good deal - the best was RBS who required a 20% deposit and at least 1 year visa. We can only really afford 15% maximum. Does anyone know who the best lender for our kind of situation would be?
