Can an insurance company cancel my motor policy if i don't substitute another vehicle within 30 days of previous total loss claim being settled?
I have held a fully comprehensive motor insurance for a number of years. I had reason to make a claim on my policy recently. My car was a total loss and the claim was settled satisfactorily. However, I have now received a letter from the AA saying that I need to substitute an alternative vehicle onto the policy within 30 days or else my policy will be cancelled and no refund of premium given. Can they do this??
