I've always used my maximum allowance in a cash ISA, but havent paid into a Stocks & Shares ISA since the collapse of the market. Are these ISAs good investments now ? or are there better places to invest ?

It depends how long you can invest for. Equity investment should be for a minimum period of at least 5 years, within which time any peaks and troughs should get ironed out.

    Long-term there isn't a better place.
