me and my boyfriend are looking for a split tennancy agreement from a landlord who accepts DSS is this possible because we are being made homeless

please let me know because we will be homeless towards the end of this month and are finding it really difficult to find anywhere to live as i am only 17

    It is very difficult when you are under 18 because you are not old enough to be legally bound to a contract.

    I suggest that you ask the DSS. They should know who will accept their clientele in their area better than anyone.

    I would also advise contacting Shelter. They will be able to advise you, and may be able to help you find temporary housing until you turn 18 and can sign the rental contract. They also stand a better chance of helping you by the end of the month - the DSS will be able to help, but they might not deal with your case immediately.
