Manzanilla can you help please?

I'm sorry, you gave me some really helpful advice late last year. Unfortunately family matters got in the way and I didn't have the time to follow up on your suggestions. I didn't realise that these would be deleted, so I can't access your advice now. Could you repeat your main points quickly please? I have a large amount to invest and asked if there was another way other than banks and building societies (low interest) or making risky investments. You suggested a way of investing in fairly reliable companies that give good dividends, and gave a link in Motley Fool where I could find out more. Do you know what I mean and can you give me those details again please? Thank you.
