If anyone has used 'Cash for Gold' shops did the shop register actual items sold?

    I have not used them but am interested to understand why you ask that question. Has someone you know sold something in one without it being registered? They should have complete records.

    I know someone who sold items but the shop only registered the weight of the gold brought in and not the actual items sold - was wondering if this is legal as it would open if up for people to get rid of stolen goods - I imagine!!!
