41Hi Steveherts
Investec High 5 seems like a pretty good deal, if 3 months notice would work?
It's an unsual savings account in that it pays the average of the 5 highest interest rates - so you know you're always getting a competitive deal. Minimum deposit is £25,000 (probably why they can offer such a nice rate, other than the notice period). At the moment, the AER is at 3.32% gross.

804Don't forget that £50,000 is the compensation scheme limit for a single person and that includes accumulated interest.
If there are 2 of you then there would be no problem. If only you then split it. Perhaps you might be able to commit one part for a bit longer and earn a higher rate.
