Have a Saga policy maturing on 12th December, have received and returned paperwork advising I want to cash policy in, but although they have acknowledged this a week before maturity I won't get the money in my bank account until 23rd December.

804It is creeping up on us very slowly.
However, this is nothing to do with that. The old BACS system has been with us for decades and could transfer the money in 3 banking days, so I am afraid that it is just down to snails pace admin at SAGA.
Ask for interest since they are delaying payment. That might gee them up a bit.
