What 'money-spinners' enrage you? I'll start. Isn't it outrageous that TFL deducts £5 from your oyster card if you 'forget' to check out.

I really don't see how you 'forget' to check-out if you complete the journey. And when you try to recall if you did or not, it's such an insignificant part of your day, you can't really say if you did or you didn't.

Surely, just a hideous 'money-spinner'? Bah

Paying £6.95 odd postage so that the reasonable price your paying for something (in this case a hard drive from Aria tech) total price seems to creep up. Unfortunately still have to buy it cos its a couple of quid less than competitors. Still annoys me tho!

What! That's a bit much. Yep looks like a money making ploy to me...

I've been caught out downloading apps that aren't free when I thought they were!

When you go to buy a Sofa costing £800 and they offer you the fabulous stain protection. If you buy using interest free credit they don't tell you that it's £80 they just say "so with the protection your monthly installments are".

Seriously £80 for stain protection surely you could have it professionally cleaned twice for that price.

When you got to a restaurant that says 'Service Charge Included' on the menu. Then when you pay by card the first question is if you want to add a gratuity.

A poker site tried to charge me for not using my account, they got short shrift and the account is now closed.

Your Oyster card assumes the worst case scenario for their charge.

My beef is with Car Parks where you get charged the full daily rate if you lose your ticket, especially when you are leaving only a couple of hours after it opened for the day.

Cinema Food Prices are harsh (and it's worse when they don't let you take you're own food/drink in).

OzsWorld - the way around the cinema prices is to claim allergies as they cannot generally assure you of things not having nuts mixed in or the use of certain oils in the case of popcorn. So you can buy yourself premium treats from somewhere like M&S and they really don't have a leg to stand on.

In some Chinese restaurants you get the bill in chinese! Is service charge added? If there are a lot of you there is no way to tell what you're being charged for - can't help but feel there might be a reason for that...

Easyjet's booking process is just TOO cheeky.

All the extras (car hire, carbon offset) are left for you to add, EXCEPT travel insurance! They add that for you, and you have to uncheck it multiple times to actually remove it. What's more, it shows up again every time you make a change, and in some browsers it's not actually removable! For shame, Stelios....
