We are HSBC PLUS account holders and want to take out an ISA. Is it best to take one with HSBC PLUS?

I would advise you to have a good look around and see what others are offering.

Even as an HSBC Plus account holder you won't get an high enough rate. The only account is a regular savings account where as a plus holder you get 8%, but they claw that back in the 12.95 fee customers pay out every month for the Plus account.

The best Fixed rate cash ISA is "First Direct" the rate is 3% so it's still with HSBC.
