Welcome to Most Wanted, the show where we look at the hottest financial topics on your Most Wanted list.

So, what's got you clicking your mouse this week?

First up is 'Brilliant booze bargains'. The government plans to curb binge drinking by increasing the price of alcohol. That's fair enough, but in this article, we show you how you can still enjoy a tipple or two without it costing you a small fortune.

Our second most-read story of the week is '20 websites that will save you money'. Mark Adams shows you how to get the best online bargains on energy, groceries, petrol and just about everything else you can think of. If you need to tighten your belt a bit, this article is a great place to start.

John Fitzsimons is utterly appalled that Northern Rock has extended its contract to sponsor football club, Newcastle United. A deal that could cost the State-owned bank a whopping £10 million. John reckons taxpayers' money is being spent carelessly in all sorts of ways and should be put to far better use. Check out his article to see if you agree.
