Time running out for these top broadband bundles
These broadband bundles are crackers, but they are all expiring soon. So don't hang about if they take your fancy!
Three huge media organisations -- BT, Sky and Virgin Media -- are constantly fighting to win larger market shares and more business from the UK's 26 million households.
As a result, these three corporations are always coming up with bigger and better offers to tempt us. Today, there are some eye-opening offers to be had for those agreeing to sign a 12-, 18- or 24-month contract for broadband, home phone and digital television. But they won't be here for long.
These five deals are all pretty great, but are being pulled soon.
1. Virgin Media: Half-price for six months, plus £75 credit
Let's begin with a delightful deal from Virgin Media.
Apply to switch to Virgin Media before 30th November to get your bundle half-price for the first six months. For half a year, you'll pay just £12.50 a month for fibre-optic 30Mb broadband, home phone with free weekend calls and TV with TiVo. This then rises to £25 a month. You'll also pay landline rental of £13.90 a month.
In addition, apply online by 31st October to get an extra £75 credited to your Virgin Media account.
2. BT: Half-price broadband for a year, plus a £25 Sainsbury’s gift card
This exclusive offer is available only via this link and ends on 10th January 2013.
Sign up to BT Unlimited Broadband with Evening and Weekend Calls and get the first 12 months for £9 a month, which is half the usual monthly rate of £18. As a bonus, new BT Broadband customers get a £25 Sainsbury’s gift card.
This means that you pay just £108 for the first year, rising to £216 for the second year. Also, you will have to pay line rental, which costs from £10.75 a month if you pay BT a year's rental in advance.
3. TalkTalk: Get broadband and phone for only £14.50 a month, plus a free 12 months of Lovefilm
Our next bundle comes from TalkTalk and includes a free gift of a year's subscription to the Lovefilm service.
This deal offers TalkTalk Plus broadband with unlimited downloads, free connection and wireless router, plus free anytime calls to UK landlines from only £14.50 a month. Line rental adds from £9.50 a month, which is a lot cheaper than rival providers.
4. BT: Get YouView TV and broadband for just £4 a month for six months, plus a £50 Sainsbury’s gift card
Now for yet another cracking offer from BT, this time aimed at customers who demand superior performance when online or watching TV.
With BT, you can get YouView TV Essential, Infinity broadband and your calls, all for £18 a month for the first twelve months, rising to £23 per month £23 thereafter. Line rental adds from £10.75 a month if you pay BT a year's rental in advance.
Included in this package are BT's TV Essential programme package, a free YouView box worth £299, Superfast Infinity broadband with up to 38Mb download speed and 40GB monthly usage limit, plus unlimited evening and weekend calls to UK landlines.
Apply online by 10th January 2013 and you'll get a £50 Sainsbury’s gift card thrown in for free!
An upgrade to 76Mb download speed is also available; this package costs £26 a month for 12 months (plus line rental) and then £31 a month thereafter.
5. Sky: Get Sky TV for just £21.50 a month, plus £100 of M&S vouchers
OK, so this isn't actually a broadband bundle, butyhis Sky deal offers what must be the juiciest upfront incentive I've ever seen in a decade of writing about home communications.
If you don't fancy moving your home phone and broadband, but would like a huge range of TV programmes, then sign up to Sky TV for £21.50 a month (for its Sky Entertainment TV package). This includes a free Sky+ box, plus a whopping £100 of Marks & Spencer vouchers. In effect, these vouchers are equivalent to a refund of nearly five monthly payments.
This offer ends on 1st November, so apply online quickly!
