New members of cashback website Quidco can pocket an easy £5 today.
For one day only, new members that make a purchase through the site will pocket a bonus £5 cashback, on top of the cashback earned from the purchase itself.
And that’s not all. New members will also be upgraded to Quidco Premium for free (it usually costs £5 a year) and you will be entered into a draw to win one of 500 Gourmet Society cards, entitling you to money off at all sorts of restaurants across the country.
How cashback works
Cashback websites are a great way to make a little back when shopping online. Rather than going straight to the retailer you want to shop with, go to your cashback site first. The big two are Quidco and TopCashback.
Then search the cashback site for the retailer you wish to shop with. Let’s take Debenhams as an example. Right now on Quidco you can earn up to 6% cashback with Debenhams. Just follow the Debenhams link from the Quidco site, and any money you spend will be tracked. After your purchase is verified, you’ll then get 6% back into your Quidco account, which you can in turn cash out into your bank account.
So just by making one slight detour, you’ll get a couple of quid back. Be aware it's not immediate though and can take several weeks.
What Quidco Premium offers
Quidco Premium is Quidco’s top level of membership. It means you get faster cashback from certain retailers, access to a Quidco support team, no sponsored advertising, a 6% payout bonus when you cash your cashback out as an Amazon gift certificate and all sorts of bespoke promotions and loyalty bonuses.
