0SimonD postedyes I was scammed in 2008 by a boiler room operation claiming to be based out of Atlanta . Georgia . USA . Since this time I have found out they were actually based out of one of the suburbs in Manila, Philippines. One of the gang broke away and tried to use the 'private investigator' scam and tried to get me to invest in his services. He ended up providing information which exposed operation, which I followed up, but unfortunately getting legal assistance in the Philippines is a scam in itself !!
