You can vary your plan each month, so if this turns out to be too low, I can easily increase it. It seemed to good to be true, so I just wondered about security and reliability of this firm.

<![CDATA[How can I reduce my broadband and landline phone costs?]]> I have a Virgin package with phone (M) and broadband (L) and am currently paying £31 a month for the privilege.

I would like to reduce this cost without it impacting on the service (which I am reasonably happy with from Virgin media).

I don't really use the phone much, apart from making free weekend calls and obviously receiving calls.

Are there any other packages which I could avail and at the same time save some money?

<![CDATA[How can I save on my broadband?]]> I have a 3G dongle at home which I use to access the internet. I have got rid of my landline because it was costing too much money.

However, I need wireless internet because I want to access it on multiple devices at once.

I don't want to have to spend a fortune to get my landline reinstated. Can I use this MiFi device to turn my dongle into a wireless hotspot?

<![CDATA[Broadband company not collecting payments: How can I change this?]]> Hi,

I'm at a bit of a loss here. Basically, TalkTalk are not taking payments by Direct Debit and charging me a fee for a rejected Direct Debit request. I am not getting any charges from my bank for a rejection, nor am I being informed of the charges from Talktalk until the next bill. I've tried cancelling the DD and the reinstating it, but no change. I have received a confirmation letter of it's setup and it appears on my bank accounts DD list. I've tried talking to Talktalk, but they insist I have no money in the account. I have plenty to cover it, by the way... I've tried emailing them but I've had no reply.

Where should I go from here?

<![CDATA[Does LoveMoney randomly access my bank accounts or do they only access it when I log in?]]> I want to know if LoveMoney accesses my bank accounts even though I am not logged in? I do not mind if they do, it's just that I noticed on my NatWest account that it said I had logged in earlier today when I had not. So I thought it may be LoveMoney. I have frozen my online service until I can sort this out.

<![CDATA[Can anyone remember a discount for e-billing from Virgin Media?]]> Recently got an email from Virgin saying now majority of customers on e-billing they are stopping my £1 discount, but I should remember that I'm still saving £1.25 which is the current cost of paper bills, thing is I can't remember if originally they charged me £1 less or people remaining on paper billing £1 more.

<![CDATA[What is the best cheap but effective (and reliable) broadband provider?]]> I have recently moved into a flat with my girlfriend, and we need to get internet asap. The previous owner had talktalk broadband, but we are struggling to decide which provider is best. Our ultimate aim is for low price but good quality. We also dont want to be hammered with installation fees.
