<![CDATA[Is the travel insurance Santander offer with their current accounts any good?]]> I am likely to be looking for travel insurance to California for two adults and one child for later this year.

I have been offered the opportunity to upgrade my Santander current account to either their 'Reward' or 'Premier' account, both of which charge a monthly fee.

As both of these current accounts include travel insurance I am considering transfering to one of them rather than taking out a single trip policy later in the year.

There are other benefits associated with the accounts which we may or may not use.

It is the travel insurance that I am interested in and wonder if anyone has any views or opinions on what Santander are offering?

<![CDATA[Do the banks in France insure your savings from loss due to their negligance? like the usa FDIC.]]> <![CDATA[I can't decide what travel + mobile phone insurance to get Please help!!!]]> Hello;

I'm not sure if you will be able to help but just thought I would give it a try any how!

I'v been banging my head trying to figure out the best option.

Where can I purchase a good, annual world travel insurance package?

I'm looking for an annual multi trip insurance policy: Full insurance cover such as http://www.postoffice.co.uk/portal/po/content2?catId=131600798&mediaId=131600815

Covering medical,luggage,flight cancellations,24hr support,cover work abroad.

Cover single trips as long as 2 months stay in any country. I'm hoping to stay under £200 for the full year insurance cover.

Are there any travel insurance plus phone insurance deals out there. I took out a phone insurance for £7 per month Advantage Blue Natwest but it doesn't cover travel insurance, so if I get this plus travel insurance it will amount to £189 per 1 year. Would short trips insurance policies returns to the UK, work out cheaper than an annual cover long trips?

Please what do you think is the best deal out there ? should I stick wiht the single £7 phone bank insurance and get seperate travel insurance.thank you for your help!

<![CDATA[Does anyone have any majic way of getting a travel insurance company to pay a claim. Been waiting four months and going in circles.]]> No e-mail responses. They don't even respond to the policy seller (flexicover). Went from claims handler, approved for payment, accounts to cost containment, then back to claims handler. 4 months gone by.

<![CDATA[Looking for special travel + equipment insurance]]> I've used the compare products to find a decent travel insurance which suits my needs, but I need some equipment insurance on my trip too. I need to cover my laptop and some musical equipment. Does anyone know of a good company that can do this or can do both?

Thanks, Ed

<![CDATA[Just been delayed returning to UK from USA by 9 days, due to flying ban. Insurers say extra costs incurred not covered by travel insurance...??]]> To quote insurance company "Our policy cover for travel delay and abandonment excludes claims for withdrawal of service on the order or recommendation of The Civil Aviation Authority." Surely because all flights were banned by the CAA this should be more grounds for costs should be covered! We are out of pocket by £1500 for 9 day delay, for accomodation and car hire only, not including food etc.

Can this be fair?

<![CDATA[Is there an effective and practical way of comparing Travel Insurance policies?]]> The recent disruption to flights, the consequential costs incurred by travellers and the reported disparity between high profile insurers has highlighted the difficulties involved in selecting a good insurance company. I am less concerned with making a saving and more interested in choosing a reliable insurer. Any suggestions?

<![CDATA[I want insurance for a trip to Australia for my wife and me. We can not find Cancellation Cover over £5k but the trip will cost £7.5k up-front]]> How do I cover this? I can find plenty of insurance for everything else at competitive rates from a host of providers (and would have gone with Saga if this had not been a substantive issue)
