Looking at last month's spending

hi- Am I correct in thinking that it is not possible to look at how much was spent last month? EG if I want to look at how much I spent during January, I could only do that if I had checked the dashboard on the last day of January? It would be really great if you could put some custom date fields in the dashboard date selection. Or better still enable previous months to be tabled or graphed by category. (I guess I could export a CSV and do it in excel, but would be great to do it in the dashboard or analysis sections, or add a section for history etc). Other than that love the concept, thanks

    Couldn't agree more.

The analysis is okay but when you have to export to track cash flow (which even old MS Money could do) it does seem lacking!

    Hi svenski,

you can track spending last month using the analysis tab, you can expand per category to see what was spent each month.

calumcrake and dion, we are currently in the process of designing a new analysis system that will make it easier to use and much more user friendly and will incorporate many of the features you have mentioned, we will keep users up to date with any news of these new features,

    Kind Regards,

    Mandy

I think what we are looking for is the summary information that is on the start page with the pie chart and the bar dislaying income, expenditure and disposable income but for previous months. In the analysis tab you have to go through each individual budget to see what was spent under each one. This is not very practical. I would like to have a dropdown on the main page (defaulted to the current month) which allows me to select the graphical data of spending for say, the last 3 months, so I can do a quick comparison.

Other than that (and my Cahoot account often not updating) I think the love money service is great!
