Barclays Pin Sentry Error 519

Hi I am unable to update my Barclays account, it uses PIN Sentry. I was able to pass through the pin sentry account on my last visit but this time I am just getting error 519 with no where to enter the extra credentials.

I'm getting a similar thing with Barclays, except mine is "Error 522"

Hi, 519 and 522 both (well, almost) mean that Barclays didn't get you PIN Sentry data in time. If you have the PIN Sentry data ready just before the page loads then you can enter it straight away and send it back to them sooner, hopefully this will let you refresh your accounts. The link to enter the PIN Sentry data should be in its own yellow box just under the Barcalys account summary on the left hand side of the Dashboard and Transaction pages. Cheers, Dave

Thanks Dave! Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a yellow bow containing a link to enter my PIN Sentry data, just the error message (in a yellow box) as soon as the page loads. In the error message is a link to "refresh your balances", but that appears to just attempt a refresh with whatever PIN Sentry data is already stored.

Same problem as Kjlloydle, no yellow box asking for PINSentry details, just the error.

Still having the same problems. If lovemoney.com can't access my bank transactions then the whole site becomes a bit pointless. Barclays current account must be one of the most popular accounts around. Seem's like a large percentage of customers must be affected by this.

I also have the same problem, have raised it before. The only workaround I've found is to click on 'Edit, Delete and Manage Accounts', and then 'Change the Login Details for this Account'. Putting the details in again seems to work. I have a number of other (non-Barclays) accounts in lovemoney and I suspect that because the site is quite slow the Barclays PIN sentry bit simply times out. Hope this helps, and that this gets fixed soon!

Also experiencing the same issue - no yellow box, just the "error 519". Having to use the same workaround as Shiny to get my latest Barclays data :(

I too have this problem - my only account is with barclays - there is a way to access barclays account without pin sentry, cant lovemoney.com just use that method instead of pin sentry?

I've had the same problem for the whole time I've been registered. I wish there was a way for us to download the data files from Barclays ourselves and then upload them manually.

Also have the same problem, and would be nice to have this work correctly rather than have to re-enter all login infomation again.

Hi all, I have spoken to our data partner and we are working on a solution for this problem. I'll keep this thread updated. -Charlie

I'll add my name to those having trouble. Haven't been able to download any data at all since I joined - the workaround of editing the details doesn't work for me. Keep getting 403 errors, that eventually turn into a 519 error.

    Yep, me too!

Any idea on a resolution? My main account is Barclays and as someone has already mentioned, without access, the whole site is sadly worthless to me :(

Hi, we are still looking at this problem with our data partner, the difficulty we are having is that it appears inconsistent in that it is working for some users but not for others. Many apologies to all who are having problems, I understand it is very frustrating, I will let this thread know as soon as we have a resolution we are confident will work.

Hi, just to update you that Barclays Basic access is now confirmed working with our systems.

    You

will need to login normally via pin sentry at the Barclays site, enable

Basic Access, and choose another memorable word to be used for Basic

Access only. Once that is complete you will be able to add the Barclays

Basic Access account on our system.

    Hope that helps,

    Charlie

I am also having this problem. Does this mean it is necessary each time one logs into their account to use the pin sentry?

    HI Miri_lilac,

Have you activated your Barclays basic access? This will allow you to log into lovemoney using a memorable word.

    Kind Regards,

    Mandy

Is it possible to login using pinsentry still? I'm getting error 525 but I have a business account tied to the account I use for my personal data and Barclays don't allow basic login access with business accounts!

    Hi Williammvicary,

I'm not sure that our service supports pinsentry and will have to check this for you, we do support Barclays Uk Business, but this agent is currently in Beta mode which is why it may be erroring and not returning balances. I will look into this for you,

    Kind Regards,

    Mandy

    Hi

I'm getting error 519, as above.

I logged onto my Barclays online banking, changed my account to 'opt in' to basic access and chose a memorable word.

This has changed nothing on the lovemoney tracker site. Where am I supposed to put my memorable word in? I just have two yellow boxes giving me the error number.

    Thanks

    Jade

Problem is resolved now. I went into 'settings' and changed my account details to input my memorable word.

    Thanks.
