In order to place downloads meaningfully into Excel it would be nice to be able to select the transactions to download by date and account so they're not all mixed together. It would be a bonus to be able to download in QIF to input into other finance packages (I have Microsoft Money). I have found a programme to convert Excel to QIF (EX2QIF) but it's a bit long winded!

Hi, Thanks for the request. The problem with filtering a download by date, account, category, etc is that it needs an interface and that would need to be made, tested, debugged, etc, etc. All of which we plan on doing one day, but we just don't have the time right now I'm afraid. I am thinking of making it possible to download just one specific complete calander at a time, but that would be for all accounts and all categories. This would let you maintain a spreadsheet with your data in that you can order, filter and pivot, etc. I've never heard of QIF before, I'll have a look at it and see how hard it is to export to. If it is relatively easy I'll add it to the 'to do' list. If we need to pay Microsoft for it, then we probably won't I'm afraid. Hope this helps, Cheers, Dave
