This week's highlights include plenty of party food and meat offers, Dine In For £10 at M&S, deals on festive fizz, free seasoning and much more.

Welcome to this week's Frugal Food. As always, let's start off with the latest supermarket offers.

Aldi

This week’s Super 6 offer, features 500g of sprouts, 1kg of carrots and 500g of parsnips, all for only 39p, and still a bargain at 69p each, you can buy 600g of clementines/satsumas, 1.5kg of Maris Piper potatoes and five-packs of lemons. Offers end 29th December.

Asda

Various beef cuts are on offer at the moment including Butcher's Selection Beef Medallion Steaks (526g), now £5 (was £6) and Beef Roasting Joints, now £5/kg (was £6/kg), or buy Butcher's Selection Smoked Gammon Steak Thick Cut (250g) for £1.50 (was £1.98).

For snacks, you can buy Pot Noodle Chicken & Mushroom Flavour (4x90g) for £3 (was £3.85), KP Nik Naks - Nice N' Spicy (6x25g) and KP Salt & Vinegar Discos (6x28g) for £1 (was £1.88), Ritz the Original Snack Cracker (200g) at two for £1.50.

Lidl

Half-price this weekend, 1kg of fresh clementines (now 84p), smoked Black Forest ham (now 99p), Fin Carre chocolate (now 19p) and Options hot chocolate (now £1.59), only available this Saturday and Sunday. Other deals include 10% off smoked 200g packs of Scottish salmon (now £2.49) and 10% off 700g packs of pork loin chops (now £3.29), 1kg of baby potatoes for 79p and 500g of British parsnips for 50p.

M&S

This weekend at Marks & Spencer it’s the Dine in for Two for £10. Pick a main, side and dessert and bottle of wine. Includes rump steak, ready to roast glazed gammon and whole Oakham chicken. See the full menu here. Ends Monday 17th December.

Morrisons

Don’t miss the two for £4 special on party food (including tempura prawns and brie/cranberry parcels). There’s also better than half-price whole Scottish salmon, now £4.69/kg (was £9.99), you can buy two whole sea bass for £4 (was £8), British pork ribs are now £3/kg (was £5) and a British turkey crown for £7.99/kg (was £8.80).

Westin Gourmet

Consider buying your meat from online gourmet butcher Westin Gourmet. Right now special offers include 16% off boneless pork loin (now 2.5kg joints for £15.70) and 15% off New Zealand lamb shanks (now £29.45 for six 250g shanks).

These offers expire on Monday.

Before you hit the supermarkets, check for any money-saving coupons:

• Save 50p on Maille Hollandaise sauce 200g via The Metro online newspaper (scroll to page 57). Use the voucher at Waitrose before it expires 21st December 2012.
• Use this voucher for 50p off a pack of Hipp Organic Mini Pots, expires 13th January 2013.
• And, in case you missed it, like Greek Gods Yogurt on Facebook to print a voucher saving you £2 on a 680g tub of Greek Gods yogurt at Sainsbury’s, expires 30th December 2012.

More booze bargains at Morrisons this week with a third off various wines including Gavi Nostro Meglio (now £5.99), Fleur Du Cap Chenin Blanc (now £6.59), Campo Viejo Rioja (now £4.99) and Piccini Chianti (now £5.29). Plus buy various boxes of beer and cider for £7 each (includes Guinness Draught 8-packs, Stella Artois 12-packs, San Miguel 12-packs and Becks Blue 15-packs).

At Ocado, look out for Martini Prosecco for £7 (was £12.99), or head for the posh stuff with Duval-Leroy Fleur De Champagne Premier Cru for £14.99 (was £29.99) and Gauthier Brut Non Vintage Champagne for £16 (was £32).

There are more than 50 half-price bottles at Tesco Wine and new customers save £10 when they spend £50 with the ongoing code XXMML4.
