This week's round-up of supermarket bargains, restaurant discount vouchers, freebies and more.

Best supermarket deals

Aldi

Aldi's Super Six this week are: pineapples, six conference pears, eight kiwis, 500g of plums, six Granny Smiths and six oranges – all for 69p each, ends 13th October.

Asda

Handy for packed lunches, at Asda you can buy Soreen The Original Malt Loaf Snackers (5 per pack) for £1 (was £1.28), Harvest Cheweee Milk Choc Chip Cereal Bars (9x22g) for £1 (was £1.68), KP Discos - Assorted (6x28g) or KP Nik Naks - Nice N' Spicy (6x25g) for £1 (was £1.88) and Nestle Ski Smooth Low Fat Strawberry & Raspberry Yogurt (4x120g) for £1 (was £1.58).

Or for lunch at home, New Covent Garden Food Co. Jammin' Jamaica Sweet Potato Soup (600g) is £1.50 (was £1.97), Mattessons Smoked Pork Sausage Family Pack (375g) for £1.50 (was £2.49), Old El Paso Fajitas Original Smoky BBQ Kit for £3 (was £3.78), or go it alone with Mission Mexican Soft Flour Tortillas (8) for £1 (was £1.56).

Lidl

Half-price this weekend at Lidl are eight-pack Glenview Farm sausages (now 49p), 200g Oakland cherry farm tomatoes (now 50p), 500g Utterly Butterly (now 90p) and 12-pack Mini Cheddars (now £1.49) – all available this Saturday and Sunday only.

Marks & Spencer

With the new meal deal at Marks & Spencer you get a free bottle of wine when you buy a takeaway for two. Pick from two mains (such as Sticky Chicken, Char Sui Pork, Chicken Jalfrezi) and two sides (such as egg fried rice, spring rolls, sticky wings and garlic naan) and get a bottle of plonk for free! See the full menu here. Offer ends Tuesday 10th October.

Morrisons

Tins of Celebrations, Quality Street, Roses and Haribo have all been reduced to £5 at Morrisons. You can also buy Napolina pasta sauce for £1 and save 50% on Dolmio Original (now £1.49), Hellmann’s Real Mayo Squeezy (now £1.24), Tetley Tea Bags 240 (now £2.89), Buitoni Penne Bronze 500g (now £1.09) and Maxwell House Coffee (now £2.19).

Just in case you have one lying around, there was a coupon in this Thursday’s (4th October) edition of The Sun for £10 off a £60 spend before Sunday 7th October.

Ocado

Sandwiches are sorted at Ocado with Seriously Strong Vintage Cheddar (350g) for £2.24 (was £4.49), Deli Shop Classic Cooked Ham for £2.50 (was £5) and 25% off when you buy any two Reflets de France pates (normally £3 each). On to the fruit and veg, Essential Waitrose Courgettes (600g) are £1.56 (was £2.09), Ocado Kids Easy Peel Clementines (600g) are £1.61 (was £1.79) and Waitrose Butternut Squash Wedges (350g) are £1.19 (was £1.79).

Sainsbury’s

For your five a day at Sainsbury’s grab 140g Fresh Figs for £1 (was £2.50), and buy two for £2.50 on 400g Home Ripening Plums and four-pack Nectarines (usually £2/£1.50 each).

You can also buy some cheap cheats including Sainsbury's Potato Croquettes for £1 (was £2), Sainsbury's Garlic Baguettes Extra Strong (2 per pack) for 95p (was £1.90), Sainsbury's Macaroni Cheese (800g) for £2 (was £4) and Sainsbury's Chinese Style Pork Belly Strips (300g) for only 50p (was £2.49).

If you’re craving some salty treats you can buy Walkers Sensations Mexican Smoked Chilli Peanuts for 99p (was £1.99), Pizza Express Original American 8" for £2 (was £4), Tesco Italian Pepperoni Pizza (325g) for £1.75 (was £3), Goodfella's Delizia Chargrilled Chicken, Red Peppers & Pesto Pizza (2 per pack) for £1.49 (was £2.99) and four-pack Pot Noodle Chicken & Mushroom for £1.94 (was £3.89).

And keep an eye out for Florette Crispy Salad (200g) at £1 (was £1.74), Tesco Venison Burgers (2 per pack) for £1.14 (was £2.29), 4 tins of Princes Tuna Chunks in Brine for £3.74 (was £7.49), East End Pure Butter Ghee (500g) for £2 (was £3.99) and Bassett's Jelly Babies (600g) for £2 (was £4).

Save £10 on a £50 spend online at Tesco with code XXPPC, expires 31st October.

Waitrose

For a healthy start to the day at Waitrose buy Alpro Pouring Plain Soya Yogurt (750ml) for £1 (was £1.75), Yeo Valley Organic Greek Style Vanilla Yogurt (4x100g) for £1.16 (was £1.75) and 400g of Waitrose Organic Plums for £2 (was £2.50).

Vegetables on offer include Waitrose Celeriac for £1.31/kg ( £1.61/kg) and from the organic range, 1kg of carrots for £1.34 (was £1.69), 500g of baby new potatoes for £1.35 (was £1.69) and 250g of cooked beetroot for 75p (was £1). And, snack on Hula Hoops Original (160g) for 92p (was £1.85) and Penn State Pretzels (175g) for 74p (was £1.49). Waitrose Sweet Red Romano Peppers (180g) for £1.34 (was £1.79) and Waitrose Organic Garlic for 84p (was £1.05).

Before you hit the supermarkets, check for any money-saving coupons:

• Save £1 on the new Haagen Dazs Secret Sensations ice cream in Chocolat Fondant or Crème Brulee. Voucher expires 18th October.
