Highlights this week include loads of fresh fruit and veg bargains, money off Weight Watchers products, a totally free bag of Walkers crisps, £10 off a £30 spend at Domino's, and free-with-purchase cinema tickets and after school club activities.

Best supermarket deals

Aldi

Aldi's Super Six this week are celery, savoy cabbage and three-packs of garlic for 39p each, and 250g of cocktail vine tomatoes, 125g of blueberries and honeydew melons for 69p each.

Asda

This week at Asda buy Warburtons Toastie Thick Sliced White Bread (800g) for £1 (was £1.20), grab two for £2 on Soreen Malt Loaf and McVitie’s Fruit Cake, save a few pence on various Mr Kipling puddings reduced from £1.68 to £1.50, or buy six Asda Chosen by You Teatime Treat Frangipanes for £1.40 (was £1.58).

Asda has also cut the cost of various household dairy products too: buy Chosen by You yoghurts for 80p (was £1), Alpro Soya UHT for £1 (was £1.19), Yeo Valley Organic Milk for 88p (was £1), Asda Free Range Medium Eggs (6) for £1 (was £1.48), Epicure Goose Fat (320g) for £2.67 (was £2.99), Asda Extra Special Mature Gouda (175g) for £1.80 (was £2) and Extra Special Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese (180g) for £3.15 (was £3.50).

Get free delivery at Asda on any order worth £99 with the code AMFD2799, valid until 31st August.

Lidl

There are only three half-price weekend deals at Lidl this time: cured pork loin joints for £1.99, 1L of UHT skimmed milk for 24p and a 500g punnet of red grapes for 99p (all available on Saturday and Sunday only).

However, they have more than made up for this with XXL week: you can buy 5kg of onions for £1.29, 1kg of plums for 99p, 600g of spaghetti for 49p, 1L of Primadonna olive oil for £2.99, 1kg of Nostia passsata for 59p and 250g of paprika crisps for £1.29.

Morrisons

If you’re shopping at Morrisons this week grab: Tate & Lyle Light at Heart 450g bags of brown and white sugar for £1 (was £2.97), Cathedral City Light 350g for £1.99 (was £3.99), Birds Eye 18 Chicken Nuggets for £1.50 (was £3.25), Magnum three-packs for £1 (was £2.50) and Kellys Ice Cream 1L (all varieties) for £2 (was £4) 

Ocado

Top deals at Ocado include: Innocent Apple Juice (1.35L) for £1.34 (was £2.69), or if you prefer Copella (1.25L) it is still on offer at £1.32 (was £2.65), Clover is half price at £1 (was £2), Collier's Powerful Welsh Cheddar (400g) is £1.99 (was £3.99), Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise Squeezy (750ml) is £1.99 (was £3.98) and if you like Young’s the  Admiral Pie is 75p (was £1.50), their White Fish Flaky Fillets (five per pack - 500g) are £3 (was £6) and the Chip Shop Extra Large Fish Fillets in Beer Batter (two per pack) are £1.99 (was £3.99).

First time Ocado shoppers can use VOU1304996 for £10 off first orders over £50 (expires 31st Dec).

Sainsbury’s

You can stock up on a whopping 10kg of Akash Basmati Rice for only £9 (was £13), and 10kg of Elephant Atta Fine White Chappatti Flour for £5.24 (was £6.99) at Sainsbury’s. Other bulk-buy bargains include 720g of Bird’s Eye Chicken Nuggets for £2.49 (was £4.99), the usual Pride tins at four for £1 and various Sainsbury’s brand soups for 39p (was 59p).

You can also buy French's Classic Yellow Mustard for £1 (was £1.79), Rajah Hot Madras Curry Powder for 48p (was 61p), Aleyna Hot Chillies (900g) for £1 (was £1.49) and finally, save on Sainsbury's Home Ripening Plums (400g), now £1 (was £2), 500g of garden peas, now £1.50 (was £3), 500g of courgettes, now £1 (was £1.75) and Taste the Difference Vivaldi Potatoes (1Kg), now £1.50 (was £2).

New Sainsbury’s shoppers can save £10 on a £50 spend – use MVC code NP3P-H64K-K4KV at the checkout before it expires Tuesday 21st August.

After this, use code RJDG-CHYR-CFHG for £10 off grocery spends over £60, valid until Tuesday 2nd October. If you’re happy to spend more, T7KV-KHYY-6LM6 knocks £15 off a £75 spend, valid until 4th September.

Tesco

Save 50% on these fresh groceries: 1kg bags of Tesco Finest Exquisa Potatoes for £1 (was £2), loose black seedless grapes for £3/kg (was £6/kg), organic kiwi fruit for 70p (was £1.40), organic green grapes for £2 (was £4) and 350g of either Seriously Strong Vintage Cheddar or Pilgrims Choice Mature Cheddar for £2.50 (was £5).

Or, for a bit of stodge, these are all half-price too: Tesco Sausage Rolls (6 per pack) at 80p (was £1.60), Tesco Italian Cheese & Garlic Baguettes (2 per pack) are £1 (was £2), and Tesco Italian Large Pepperoni Pizza are £2.25 (was £4.40). And you can buy Tesco Fresh Potato Wedges with Parsley Dressing for £1 (was £1.50), or Tesco Nachos Meal Kit for £2 (was £2.19) and Fajitas Meal Kit for £2 (was £2.29). You can also buy Yazoo milkshake for 50p (was £1).

Shop three times at Tesco and you’ll be given 300 extra Clubcard points on each shop when you use these codes – XXLRNF for 1st shop, XXYRYP for 2nd shop and XXL7MH for 3rd shop – for orders delivered before 31st August 2012. If you complete all three shops, you’ll be rewarded with an extra 600 points, totaling 1,500 Clubcard points, worth up to £60 if you exchange them for Clubcard rewards!

And save £10 on a £50 spend online with code XXAFFT, expires 31st August. Also, don't forget you can currently exchange £5-worth of Clubcard vouchers for £10-worth of Clubcard tokens in the Summer Clubcard Exchange to spend in departments including frozen and pet foods.

Waitrose

This week there's two for one on Pizza Express Margherita pizzas, mini watermelons are two for £3, Warburtons Five Seeded Batch bread is two for £2.20, and there's two-for-one on six-packs of English Jazz apples.

If you're planning a picnic or party, 75g packs of Unearthed Italian Prosciutto Crudo are £1.32, 120g packs of German Brunswick Beechwood Smoked Ham Slices are two for £2.65, and 130g packs of Flame Grilled Chicken Pieces are two for £4.

Westin Gourmet

Finally, check out the special offers this week from online gourmet butcher Westin Gourmet which includes: 21% off Chicken Supremes (now £7.77 for four x 227g), 15% off Barbary duck legs (now £3.97 for two x 315g legs) and 14% off pork sausages (now £7.13 for 12 x 125g sizzlers).

Before you hit the supermarkets, check for any money-saving coupons:

• Get money off Weight Watchers goodies – 50p off any Weight Watchers Quiche and money off Weight Watchers Rich Chocolate or Belgian Chocolate & Vanilla dessert, bread, sandwiches and more. Both vouchers expire 31st August.
• Save 50p on anything in the Bonne Maman range of tasty biscuits, valid until 30th September.

At Sainsbury’s various beer and cider favourites are only £9 each, or three for £22, including Stella 15x284ml, Strongbow Pear 15x440ml, Foster's 15x440ml and Kronenbourg 15x275ml. Offer ends 28th August.

Better than half price booze deals at Morrisons include Isla Negra Reserva Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc for £3.99 (was £8.99), Canyon Creek Zinfandel Rose for £4.99 (was £10.49), and if you’re splashing out, a case of French Connection Brut Champagne is £89.94 (was £179.94) – or just buy it by the bottle for £14.99 (was £29.99).
