This week we've got a £10 Dinner For Two at Waitrose, grab the Super Six fruit and veg from 39p at Aldi, save 20% on spirits at Sainsbury's, get half-price pizza at Dominos, buy 12 and get 12 free on Krispy Kreme doughnuts and win a year's supply of Ben and Jerry's!

Welcome to this week's Frugal Food. Let's kick off this week with the latest supermarket deals.

Best supermarket deals

Tesco

This week we’re going to kick off with some meat and fish deals with 80p off 500g packs of Tahira Beef Hot & Spicy Sausages and Tahira Chicken Sausages with Olives (now £1), half-price Tesco Breaded Chicken Goujons (now £1) and Tesco Minted Lamb Steaks (now £4), plus Tesco Roast Peri Peri Chicken Wings for £3 (was £4.50), Tesco Ready to Eat Roast Chicken Thighs for £2.50 (was £4) and Tesco Herb Crumb Ham for 85p (was £1.29).

On to tins and jars, Heera 1L sauces (chilli, piri piri, chilli garlic) are now 99p (£1.99), various Tesco Cream of Soups are 46p (was 59p), Olivio Vegetable & Olive Oil Blend 1L is £2 (was £3.19) and Tesco Finest Garlic Infused Olive Oil 250ml is £1 (was £2.49). Then look out for eight-packs of Activia Fig, Rhubarb, Prune & Cranberry Yogurt for £1.50 (was £3), Emma Giordani Spinach & Ricotta Tortelloni for 99p (was £1.99), Primafresco Pepperoni Pizza for £1.79 (was £3.59) and Tesco Finest Albacore Tuna Steak in Olive Oil for £2 (was £3.99).

At Tesco online new customers can save £5 on a £40 spend with XXKYYH, and get 1,200 Extra Clubcard Points on your first order (of at least £75) with XX4HJT, valid until 15th July.

Asda

Fill up your fridge with Castello White cheese for 90p (was £1.58), four-packs of Nestle Smarties Split Pot Vanilla Yogurt for £1 (was £2), Shape Delights Velvety Chocolate Dessert for £1 (was £1.58), Chosen by You Coconut Yoghurt for 80p (was £1), and from the Asda Extra Special range, Parmesan Cheese for £3.15 (was £3.50), Camembert for £1.80 (was £2), Extra Special Rich & Creamy Coleslaw for £1 (was £1.32), and Mozzarella di Bufalo for £1.32 (was £1.47)

Elsewhere Glorious! Skinny New England Butternut Squash Soup for £1.50 (was £1.97), Kingfisher Coconut Milk for £1 (was £1.40), Dorset Cereals Simply Nutty Muesli for £2 (was £2.88), Fox's Munch Chocolate Biscuits for 50p (was 98p), six-packs of KP Frisps Variety for £1 (was £1.88) and Branston Relish -Tomato & Red Pepper for £1 (was £1.74).

Sainsbury’s

For something naughty, Cadbury Mini Rolls Selection are reduced to £1.50 (was £2), Mr Kipling Bakewell Slices are £1 (was £1.45), Sainsbury's Taste the Difference Granola Flapjack Slices and Cookies are £1 (was £1.49) and four-packs of Mars, Bounty and Snickers are £1 (was £1.89).

Then look out for De Cecco Linguine 500g for 77p (was £1.55), New Covent Garden Co Soup for £1 (was £2), Ragu Pasta Sauce - Red Wine & Herbs 500g for 96p (was £1.93), Hellmann's Light Mayonnaise 600g for £1.39 (was £2.79), Yoplait Perle de Lait Coconut (4x125g) for £1 (was £1.97), Muller Light Toffee & Vanilla Yogurt Fat Free (6x175g) for £1.79 (was £3.59) and BOGOF on Pork Farms Original Medium Pork Pie (was £1.75 each).

The half-price weekend deals at Lidl (available on Saturday and Sunday only) are 375g of turkey breast steaks for £1.49, 250g of fresh cherry plum tomatoes for 50p, Kanpur Garden korma cooking sauce for 39p and Golden Sun microwaveable rice for 39p.

Save 33% on various fruit and veg including cucumbers (now 39p), 1.5kg of British new potatoes (now 99p), 1kg of peaches (now £1.32) and look out for Taste of America bargains such as popcorn for 69p, Butterkist six-packs for 99p, jelly beans for 99p and jars of hot dogs for £1.39. 

Morrisons

Better than half-price deals on Innocent Orange Juice 900ml (now 90p), Fabulous Bakin Boys Oaty Flapjack six-packs (now 65p), Tilda Long Grain/Easy Cook Rice 500g (now £1), Pepsi eight x 330ml (now £1.89), Kelloggs's Crunchy Nut Cornflakes 750g (limited to three packs per customer) now £1.49, Kiltie Scampi Bites 220g (now £1.50), and Ben & Jerrys Ice Cream 500ml (excludes 'Core' varieties) now £2.

Aldi

The Super Six this week: cucumbers, 750g of new potatoes, little gem lettuce two-packs and 350g of celery all for 39p each and 250g vine tomatoes and 400g of strawberries for 99p each. And pick up 250g of 21-day matured British sirloin steak for £2.79 and 700g of Marinated British chicken thighs/drumsticks for £1.99. Offers end 7th July. 

Waitrose

There is a £10 Dinner For Two meal deal on this week (ends Sunday 10th July online and in-store) with a main, side, starter or dessert and box of chocs or wine up for grabs. You can also save a third on Birds Eye frozen food, or get 50% off Persil 54-wash liquid and Persil 50-wash powder, and two for £3 on Coca-Cola two-litre bottles.

Westin Gourmet

Finally, check out the special offers this week from online gourmet butcher Westin Gourmet which includes 18% off Danish Pork Loin Steaks (now £3.84 for 2 x 7-8oz steaks) and 20% off 10 x 4oz British Steak Burgers (now £25.48).
