This week's highlights include Dine In For £10 at M&S, save 6p per litre of fuel when you spend £40 or more at Morrisons this weekend, get an extra 10% off in the half-price sale at Thorntons, save 35% at Dominos, buy a Snickers Duo for 20p, save £2 on Vladivar Vodka, grab the latest Burger King summer vouchers and get a free bottle of wine for your birthday!

Welcome to this week's edition of Frugal Food. Let's start off, as always, with what's on offer at the supermarkets.

Best supermarket deals

Marks & Spencer

This week we’re going to kick off with the new Dine In For £10 meal deal at Marks & Spencer – as always you get a main, side, dessert and bottle of plonk for £10. Mains include ready to roast gammon, gastropub paella, ready to roast butter-basted pork loin joint, plaice with mornay sauce and seafood casserole. See the full menu here. Offer ends Tuesday 3rd July.

Sainsbury's

This week's deals include Coeur de Lion le Brie for £1 (was £1.65), 200g Lye Cross Farm Mature Grated Cheddar for £1 (was £1.69), Revilla Chorizo de Pueblo for £1.50 (was £3), Pink Lady Apples for £1.45 (was £2.90), Ripe & Ready Nectarines for £2 (was £4), 1kg of Apache Potatoes for £1 (was £2) and Sainsbury's Summer Fruit Trifle for £1.19 (was £2.39).

For breakfast, 750g Nestle Shreddies for £1.49 (was £2.99), 500g Nestle Coco Shreddies for £1.04 (was £2,08), 550g Kellogg’s Coco Pops for £1.34 (was £2.69) and 500g Kellogg's Mini Max Original for £1.50 (was £2.69). Or start the morning with something sweet with Taste the Difference Belgian Waffles for £1.70 (was £1.90) or some Scotch Pancakes which are two for £1.20 (usually 79p each).

New Sainsbury’s online shoppers can now use code FVC3-K7QT-6CGT to save £10 on a £50 spend, valid until Saturday 7th July.

Tesco

Save 5p per litre when you spend £50 or more before Sunday 15th July, but check for exclusions. You can get breakfast sorted on the cheap too with two packs of a dozen free range eggs for £4.50 (usually £2.78 each), Tesco Apple & Raspberry Muesli Breakfast Yoghurts for 29p (was 59p) and Quaker Oat So Simple Morning Bars five-packs for £1 (was £2.19).

Snack-wise, various Walkers Sensations 150g bags are reduced to £1 (was £1.99), six-packs of Jacob's Twiglets Original for £1 (was £2.30), 600g Bassett's Jelly Babies and 350g Cadbury Heroes are half-price at £2 and Rocky Bar nine-packs are 79p (was £1.59). Then rustle up a meal in minutes with a Thai Taste Green Curry Meal Kit for £1.53 (was £2.29), half-price frozen Tesco Finest Raw Jumbo King Prawns for £2.49 and Al'Fez Lebanese Style Falafel Mix for 74p (was 99p).

 New Tesco online shoppers can save £10 on a £50 spend with discount codes XXPPPC or XXAFFT valid until 30th June.

Asda

Grab any of these for just £1: Levi Roots Pineapple, Coconut & Lime Drink (was £1.59), Five Alive (was £1.20), Baxters Vegetarian Soup (was £1.12), Fox’s Classics (was £1.59), 250ml Asda Olive Oil, 1kg Asda Fusilli and Asda Penne. There are also some decent multibuys for your freezer including two for £1.50 for Cofresh Crushed Ginger and Garlic (was 85p each), three for £2 on Asda Chosen by You Breaded Chicken Goujons (was £1 per pack), two for £2.50 on Aunt Bessies Hash Browns (was £1.99 each) and two for £3 on 6x90ml Wall's Cornetto Family Size Strawberry (was £2.49 each).

Lidl

The half-price weekend deals at Lidl (available on Saturday and Sunday only) are four Scotch Quarter Pounders (now £1.14), red peppers (now 39p), gouda cheese slices (now 94p), a 5kg bag of charcoal BBQ briquettes (now £1.49) and Daddies 1kg Ketchup or Brown Sauce (now 99p).

Other reductions and special offers include bags of spinach for 69p, bunches of spring onions for 39p, pork loin steaks for £2.49 (480g), two gammon steaks for £1.49 (340g + 40g free), British beef stir fry for £2.99 (350g), chicken wings for £2.49 (1kg), five German smoked pork sausages for £1.99 and grated Grana Padano for £1.19 (100g).

Morrisons

Get 6p off every litre of fuel this week with the Morrisons Fuel Britannia promotion when you spend £40 by Sunday 1st July. Collect your voucher at the till when you pay for your goods and redeem by the following Sunday 8th July. It’s three for £1 on peaches and nectarines , or buy an eight-pack of Butchers Handmade British Steak Burgers half-price at £3.60, Morrisons Gammon joint half-price at £3.99. It’s also buy one, get one free on Premium Natural Deglet Noor Dates on the Vine (£6 for 1kg), Sizzlers Bacon 240g packs (£2.99) and Innocent Tubes (£2).

Westin Gourmet

Finally, check out the special offers this week from online gourmet butcher Westin Gourmet which includes 10% off 2.27kg packs of smoky streaky bacon (now £11.77), 19% off 1kg packs of gourmet chicken drumsticks (now £8.19) and 11% off 1kg pork mince (now £6.50).

Before you hit the supermarkets, check for any money-saving coupons:

• Print this free voucher and use at your nearest BP station to claim a Snickers Duo for just 20p. Get in quick though, it expires 2nd July.

• Save 25p on your next purchase of McVities Medley’s bars when you like them on Facebook and click on the Medley Dedications tab. Vouchers expires two weeks after you print it off. 

Or if you’re shopping online, cut costs with these codes:

• Knock 10% off orders over £25 at Hotel Chocolat with code VCSUM10, expires 31st August.

• If you’re shopping online at M&S Food to Order you can save £5 on a £30 spend with the code FTOSVNGS (which you can also quote in-store), valid until Tuesday 31st July.

• Get 15% off at Moko Chocolates with code JUNE2012, valid until Sunday 1st July.

• A new Ocado code VOU9562593 saves you £15 on a £60 spend and you can use VOU3020143 for free delivery too, use by Saturday 30th June. First time Ocado shoppers can use VOU1304996 for £10 off first orders over £50 (expires 31st Dec).
