This week we've got new and extended restaurant deals from La Tasca, Bella Italia, Café Rouge, Zizzi, Chiquito, Roadchef and Pizza Express. Plus save 25% on wines at Morrisons, get a free ice cream cone from Ben & Jerry's on Tuesday, save 75p on Benecol, 50p on McCains, get free tomato seeds from Dolmio, free cupcakes from Kerrygold, free sandwiches from Heinz, save 35% at Dominos, save £5 at Whittard, 10% at Hotel Chocolat and get a free fiver to spend at Tesco next week!

Best supermarket deals

This week we’re going to kick off with the latest meal deal at Marks & Spencer with a main, side, dessert and bottle of plonk for £10. Take your pick from various mains such as Rotisserie Chicken, Gastro Cottage Pie, Ready to Roast Gammon and mushroom risotto, plus desserts such as Kentish Bramley Apple Puff Pastry Pie, Jelly Terrine and Easter Chocolate Trifle. Morrisons best buys include 2 for £3 on Pringles, 2 for £1 on Amoy Medium Dry Noodles 200g (was £1.09 each), 2 for £2 on Dolmio Taste of Sauce 350g (was £2.05 each), half-price Tilda Basmati Rice 2kg (now £3.99), half-price Go Ahead Bakes/Breaks 6 packs (now £1.34) and lots of cheap Easter treats including 98p Easter eggs, half-price Thorntons Bramble Bunnies (now £4) and half-price Lir Champagne Truffles (now £1.37).

At Asda there are lots of multibuy offers including two for £3 on Heinz soup four-packs (usually £3.18 each), two cartons of Happy Egg Co large eggs for £2 (usually £1.90 each), three for £3 on Petits Filous four-packs (usually £1.40 each) and two for £1 on Campbells pasta and sauce packets (usually 85p each).

Other deals worth a look are 800g Heinz mayonnaise for £2 (was £3), Cheestrings Twisted for £2 (was £2.88) and Cadbury Wispa large eggs for £2 (was £5).

Next up at Sainsbury’s top deals include Sharwood’s egg noodles for £1 (was £1.79), Kellogg’s Coco Pops Moons and Stars for £1.24 (was £2.49), Honey Loops for £1.39 (was £2.78), six kiwis for 74p (was £1.49) and, for a lazy dinner, Dolmio pasta bake is now 99p (was £1.99), Napolina tomato and red pepper sauce is £1.02 (was £2.05), Sainsbury’s boneless chicken sharing tub for £2 (was £4) and Tilda two-minute rice is 79p (was £1.59).

Heading to Tesco fill up your store cupboards with Haywards traditional pickled onions (2 for 1 at £1.89), Heinz Ketchup Squeezy (2 for 1 at £1.95), Wonderful pistachios for 99p (was £1.99), 1kg of Napolina spaghetti for £1 (was £2.19), Tilda basmati and wild rice for £1.99 (was £3.72) and Princes Jumbo Hot Dogs for £1.05 (was £2.10).

You can also buy Pilgrims Choice Extra Mature Cheddar 400g for £2.24 (was £4.49), Tesco Finest Scottish Smoked Salmon 300g for £7.50 (was £15), Tesco on the Vine Tomatoes for 90p (was £1.80), three packs of Tesco Italian Garlic Baguettes for £1 (was £2), 500g of Kellogg's Fruit 'n' Fibre for £1.34 (was £2.69) and there are cheap Easter treats too – Cadbury Dairy Milk Large and Maltesers and Friends egg are £2.75 each (they were £6), Nestle Smarties Shaker Easter Eggs are £1 (they were £2) and six-packs of Cadbury Creme Eggs are £1.65 (was £3.30).

The half-price deals at Lidl are 300g of pork loin medallions for £1.29 (was £2.59), 750g of red onions for 34p (was 69p), jars of Freshona sliced mushrooms for 24p (was 48p) and 300g of KP peanuts for 74p (was £1.48). You can also grab 200g of bacon medallions for £1.39 (was £1.69), gammon joints for £3.99 (with 20% extra free), 250g of cherry plum tomatoes for 69p (was £1), Hass avocadoes for 39p (was 59p) and Jacobs biscuits for cheese for 99p (was £1.85).

Finally, check out the special offers this week from online gourmet butcher Westin Gourmet which includes 21% off a 24-pack of Cumberland sausages, now £5.74 (was £7.23), 21% off two Danish pork loin steaks, now £3.65 (was £4.62) and 16% off British lamb loin chops, now £14.80 (was £17.54).

Cheap tipple

At Waitrose you get up to 33% off various wines including Baron de Ley Club Privado Rioja, Italia Prosecco NV and Wolf Blass Yellow Label Cabernet Sauvignon 2010 S Australia. Other wines have 25% off such as Bouchard Aîné et Fils, White Burgundy 2009.

Asda has cut the price of various 700ml sprits including Beefeater London dry gin, reduced from £14.47 to £12, Russian Standard Vodka, reduced from £14.97 to £12, and Sailor Jerry Spice Rum, reduced from £17.97 to £15.

At Morrisons when you buy six or more bottles of wine or champagne you save 25% and you can still enjoy free delivery on all orders placed at Tesco Wine (by the case) before midnight on Sunday 1st April.

If you’re shopping this weekend, check for any vouchers to cut costs:

• Save 50p on any McCain kids product (McCain Smiles, Pizza Fingers and Astros), or McCain French Fries – there are two coupons to print off here which expire 26th April 2012.
• Get 30p off Burgen bread (made from natural seeds and grains) by following this link and printing the coupon – valid for two weeks after you print it.
• Save 75p on anything from the new Benecol range of low fat and fruit layer yoghurts with this coupon, valid for three weeks after you print it.
• Like the Natural Selection Foods Facebook page for a £1 off coupon when buying any product from their range. Expires 5th April.

• On Tuesday 3rd April, it's Ben & Jerry's annual Free Cone Day. They'll be giving away free scoops of ice cream in most Odeon and Empire cinema scoop shops between 6pm and 9pm, although some will run the offer between 3pm and 9pm. Check with your local cinema for times.
• Dolmio are giving away 100,000 packs of free tomato seeds this Easter from 31st March onwards. Visit www.papasbigtomatochallenge.com from then to get yours.
• Try the new Weetabix Golden Syrup flavour – they have 200 boxes to giveaway when you ‘like’ their Facebook group and enter your address.
• Join the Haribo Easter Hunt competition and 5 people each day will win an Easter goodie bags containing masks, stickers and more.
• Heinz salad cream are touring the country giving out free sandwiches so print the voucher from the Facebook page, find your closest location and pop in to claim your freebie.
• Magners Cider are giving away 1000 eyepads on their Facebook page.
• Get one of 10,000 trial bottles of Lucozade new low calorie drink Revive, you need a Twitter account and then to tweet about your experience which they want you to drink at 3pm. Fill in the survey to see if you are eligible first.  
• On 11th April Kerrygold are giving away cupcakes to fans who ‘like’ their Facebook page. Watch the video and enter your details, answering the question then give them your address to see if you’re one of the lucky ones on the day! 
• Join the Kelloggs Krave Easter Egg Hunt on Facebook and see what you could win.

Voucher and discount codes

There are two codes floating around for Dominos fans; first get 30% off orders over £30 with MVC code MVC3530 which expires on 9th April. But, you’ll be better off saving 35% on a £25 spend using the code VHXULVPU which expires at midnight on Sunday 22nd April.

If you spend £25 at Whittard you can knock off £5 using the code TPARTY which expires at midnight on Sunday. And if you want something sweet to drink with your new tea treats, you get 10% off orders over £20 at Hotel Chocolat with the code VCEASTER10 but only today so move quickly!

Or if you want this huge Easter Extravaganza collection from Thorntons you can knock £20 off the £41.50 price tag with the code AFEE, valid until Sunday 8th April.

The £5 off offer is back at Tesco – as with last week if you spend £40 online and get it delivered by Sunday 1st April they will email you a voucher entitling you to £5 off you’re your next £40 shop (delivered on or before Sunday 8th April). Various items are excluded such as tobacco products, prescriptions and infant formula so these won’t count towards the spend. See the details here. 

There is still time for new Sainsbury’s customers to save £10 on orders over £50 using the MVC code GVPT-LP3J-MXY6, which expires Saturday 31st March.

Here are the latest Pizza Hut Delivery codes: get 25% off orders over £25 using VCF2525LD; save £10 on orders over £30 using VCF3RTYRL; use VCNP3W4FA to get 40% off orders over £35; and from last week enter the code VCL241LHG for 2 for 1 pizzas – but this for collection only – all of these expire on 22nd April.

Spend £35 or more (excluding delivery) at Hotel Chocolat and you will get a free gift – the Taste of Spring chocolate box, worth £7.50, as a thank you (this offer is available in store as well until 8th April).
