Best supermarket shopping deals

This week we’re going to kick off with some the latest Dine in for Two for £10 offer at Marks & Spencer. Available mains include beef, potato and cheese gratin, glazed pork joints, Italian steak ragu and marinated salmon with soy and ginger. See the full menu here. The Dine in for Two offer is valid until Tuesday 29th November.

This week, the four half-price weekend deals at LIDL are; 400g packs of diced, lean fresh British beef steak (now £1.44), 1kg packs of Clementines (now 79p), four-packs of Branston baked beans (now £1) and 150g packs of hand cooked potato chips (now 49p). You can also buy 500g of British parsnips for 59p (was 69p), 2kg of rooster potatoes for £1 (was £1.79), two pork shanks for £3.29 (was £3.99), Nutella for £1.49 (was £1.88) and 1.5L cartons of Tropicana on special offer at £1.99.

There are 300 Bonus Clubcard points up for grabs at Tesco when you buy three or more products from this Christmas selection for deliveries on or before 29th November. Special offers from this lot include Tesco Finest balsamic vinegar of Modena for £4.39 (was £5.49), a mulled wine spice bag for £3.99 (was £4.99), Tesco Finest honeycomb in Acacia honey for £3.19 (was £3.99), Tesco shortbread tartan tin for £4 (was £9), Tesco Finest cranberry sauce for £1.43 (was £1.79) and mince pie ice cream for £1.74 (was £3.49).

On to the meat/fish section, grab Tesco Carvery lamb leg for £8 (was £10), diced pork 380g for £3.50 (was £4), fresh British beef mince 250g for £1.10 (was £1.25), Gressingham Foods duck legs for £2.50 (was £3.15), Tesco Healthy Living chicken mini fillets for £1.85 (was £2.15) and Tesco fish pie mix for £2.70 (was £3).

Next up Sainsbury’s top BOGOF deals; buy two packs of Taste the Difference Wiltshire ham for £2.79, two Giovanni tortellini packs for £1.99, two packs of Sainsbury’s butternut squash risotoo bites or chorizo paella bites for £3 and two bottles of Belvoir elderflower presse, raspberry lemonade or organic ginger beer for £2.20.

 You can also grab four tins of John West tuna chunks for £4 (was £6.99), Kingsmill 50/50 pitta pockets for 59p (was 89p), Taste the Difference pasta 500g for £1 (was £1.57), Taste the Difference Stuffing for £1 (was £1.18). And, for cheese fans Coeur de Lion brie is reduced from £1.65 to £1, Mini Babybel packs are now £1.18 (was £1.78), Sainsbury’s Cambozala is £1.60 (was £2), Dutch Edam is £1 (was £1.60), Parlick Fell sheep cheese is £2 (was £2.25) and you can buy two Gevrik goats cheeses for £1.80, saving you 40p.

Moving on to Asda it’s 2 for £1.50 on mushroom – choose from chestnut, closed cup and jumbo – saving you 50p and it’s 2 for £2 on various bags of fruit including Braeburn apples, Granny Smiths, easy peel satsumas and conference pears.

You can also save money on selected meat buys from the Asda Extra Special range – look out for 1kg British beef roast joints reduced from £10.99 to £8, 6 Cumberland sausages and Lincolnshire sausages for £2 (was £2.38), cod fishcake melts for £2 (was £2.50), 100g of sirloin steak for £1.80 (was £2), 100g of Scottish smoked salmon for £2 (was £2.98), two slow cooked pork shanks in mustard sauce for £3.50 (was £4) and Scottish mussels in garlic sauce for £2 (was £2.50).

Finally, check out the 5 special offers this week from online gourmet butcher Westin Gourmet which includes 35% off gourmet chicken drumsticks (now £4.41 for six), 32% off French brie (now £13.48 for 1kg block) and 29% off Cumberland cocktail sausages (now for £6.22 for 1kg).

Tipple

At Sainsbury’s you can buy bottles of Bell’s Scotch Whisky for just £13 (was £21.39), Taste the Difference XO brandy for £12.71 (was £15.89) and grab two 700ml bottles of various spirits including Smirnoff Red Label vodka, Gordon’s Special Dry and Tia Maria for only £22. 

At Morrisons you can save 25% when you buy any six bottles of wine. Take a look at the selection here.

You can save £15 on orders over £49.99 at Laithwaites Wine using the code VCODE15, valid until 31st December.

Cut-price snacks

Sign up with Greggs and you’ll be sent a voucher for BOGOF sausage rolls, valid until 24th February 2012.

Visit the McCain Chip Chooser on Facebook (you’ll have to ‘like’ them first) and you’ll get a voucher for 50p off your favourite McCain chips.

Ongoing deals:

• And you can still get discounted Innocent veg pots here – the more people that tweet about #tweetandeat, the cheaper you all get them. Once it’s gone as cheap as it will go you can print the coupon (and whatever level it happens to be at) and head to a store.

Voucher codes

Another one for new customers shopping for Sainsburys Groceries – save £15 when you spend £75 using the code N9D9-NC6K-X7LF, valid until 30th November. Or, get £10 off when you spend £50 using the code MVT9-MRRF-KTC3, valid until 3rd December.

This week’s code for groceries at Tesco will save new customers £15 off when they spend £75 and use the code XXMFLP, which is valid until 30th November. There is also an ongoing code XXMM47 saving new customers £10 when they spend £50 on groceries at Tesco but remember that certain items - including wine by the case, tobacco, infant milk formulae and prescription medicines - are not eligible for the discount.  

New Ocado shoppers can still save £15 when they spend at least £75 and use the code VOU1146975, which is valid until 30th November but if you only want to spend £60 – Myvouchercodes.co.uk has a code VOU2806787 which also saves you 15% until next year.

For pizza codes, the latest Pizza Hut Delivery code saving you 50% when you spend £35 using the code VCHP11WJB which is valid until 27th November (excludes drinks and ice-cream). But don’t forget there are some older codes still going so use the right one for your order - use VCPZDELDQ for 2 for 1 pizzas with a side (add all the items to your basket first), VCP9W4YDH for 25% off orders over £25. There is also VCFP11TTS for £10 off orders from the full price menu over £25 which can be used on sides, desserts and drinks.

Elsewhere you can get 25% off when you spend £25 at Papa Johns with PJES25OFF, also for the weekends only (Friday to Sunday), buy an XL pizza and get a free side order with code AAPJWTPXS and if it’s your first order, you can save 33% with code AALDN33.

Ongoing codes at Hotel Chocolat will save you 10% on orders over £20 – use this voucher on any day of the week until 31st December. Or if you prefer Thorntons you get a free Mint Selection (250g) worth £6.99 when you spend £20, (excluding delivery and icing) using the Vouchercodes.co.uk code FMVC which is also valid until the end of the year – note you will need to add the free product to your basket (product code 0239).

AreYouPeckish.co.uk offers snack packs delivered to your office or home and as with its rival Graze.com you can get your first pack for free using the ongoing code peckish3.
