Best supermarket deals
This week we’re going to kick off with Asda who this week is giving away £5 vouchers if you spend £40 or more before Sunday 23rd October, which you must redeem on another £40 shop before 30th October by visiting the Asda Price Guarantee website and entering details from your receipt.
There are also price cuts on 3,000 everyday products. To help get you started with some bargains, supper time is sorted with 240 PG Pyramid teabags for £4 (was £5.54), 2 for £4 on packs of 50 Twinings teabags (usually £2.37 each), 20 Lipton teabags for £1 (was £1.28), 2 for £1 on Tuc Snack Crackers (usually £1.31 each), or if you prefer something sweet with your tea, ASDA Madeira cake, McVitie’s Golden Syrup and Jamaica Ginger cakes are all £1 (usually up to £1.20 each).
Or for your brekkie, grab 500g of Nestle Frosted Shreddies for £1 (was £2.08), 750g of Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut Cornflakes for £2 (was £2.98), 425g of Special K Fruit and Nut Clusters for £2 (was £2.99) and 500g of ASDA 55% Fruit and Nut Muesli for £1 (was £1.28).
At the Co-op you can save 50% on Cadbury Trick or Treatsize tub (now only £5), Mackie’s ice-cream (now £1.64), Royal Edinburgh shortbread assortment tins (now £4.24), Walkers French Fries, Monster Munch variety, or Quavers (now £1.82) and Weetabix Weetos (now £1.27). It’s also BOGOF on KP Real McCoys variety packs (usually £1.85 each), Quaker Oat So Simple (usually £2.39 each) and Swizzels Bumper Bag of sweets (usually £1.85 each).
There are big discounts on other sweets in time for Halloween at Tesco including 5-packs of Chewits for 78p (was £1.11), Rowntree’s Jelly Aliens for £1 (was £1.55), Green & Black’s minis for £4.50 (was £5.50) and 2 for 1 on Terry’s White Chocolate Orange Smasher and original Terry’s Chocolate Orange Milk (usually £2.75 each).
Also at Tesco, it’s 2 for 1 on Twiglets Minis (usually £3.15 each), 2 for £2 on Haywards pickled onions (usually up to £1.78 each), you can buy 395g of Davidstow Cornish mature cheddar for £2.86 (was £4.29), it’s 2 for 1 on 500g of Tilda long grain rice (usually £2.19 each) and 500g bags of Tilda Thai Jasmine rice are reduced from £2.28 to £1.99.
Sainsbury’s top fruit and veg deals this week include six kiwis for £1 (was £1.25), six Pink Lady apples for £2 (was £3), five Taste the Difference sweet clementines for £2 (was £3), 1kg of baby new potatoes for £1 (was £1.40), 500g of courgettes for £1.50 (was £1.75), Romaine lettuce hearts for £1 (was £1.50) and 600g of Taste the Difference coleslaw for £1 (was £1.89).
Also, in the Sainsbury’s freezer section Jus-Rol puff pastry sheets are £1.50 (was £1.79), McCain’s Crinkle Cut chips are on offer at £2 (was £2.65), McVitie’s Rustic Oven Chips are £1 (was £1.50), Aunt Bessie’s croquettes are £1 (was £2), the own-brand 1 litre ice-cream tubs are also £2 (was £2.19), or spend an extra £1 for Green & Black’s Organic 500g tubs (was £4.19).
Finally, check out the 5 special offers this week from online gourmet butcher Westin Gourmet which includes 24% off meaty pork sausages (now £6.19 per pack), 14% off camembert (now £16.94 for 1kg) and 20% off barbary duck breasts (now £5.90 for 450g).
Tipple
Download and print this voucher for £3 off the liqueur Glayva (buy a 50cl bottle) available at Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons and other major grocery multiple retailers and The Whisky Shop. This is limited to one voucher per person per day until 26th October.

Cut-price snacks
Innocent is offering discounted veg pots here – the more people that tweet about #tweetandeat, the cheaper you all get them. Once it’s gone as cheap as it will go you can print the coupon (and whatever level it happens to be at) and head to a store.
This coupon will save you 50p on little dish Chicken & Two Veg Pasta for children 1 year+ at participating Tesco stores. Valid until 31st October 2011.
Time is running out for Burger King vouchers saving you up to £20. There are BOGOF vouchers for Whoppers and Bacon Double Cheeseburgers, Chicken Tendercrisp and Chicken Royales, Wraps, Angus burgers, large King Nuggets and BK Fusions. Plus get a kid's meal for only £1.99 and free fries and drink with an adult burger. All vouchers are valid until 1st November.
Voucher codes
If you missed last week’s, there is another Dominos code this week exclusive to Vouchercodes.co.uk and once again saving you £10 when you spend £30 and enter the code PJKKNWCU before it expires on Sunday 23rd October.
At Hotel Chocolat you have the rest of the year to save 10% on orders over £20 – use this voucher on any day of the week until 31st December. Or if you prefer Thorntons you get a free Mint Selection (250g) worth £6.99 when you spend £20, (excluding delivery and icing) using the Vouchercodes.co.uk code FMVC which is also valid until the end of the year – note you will need to add the free product to your basket (product code 0239).
First-time shoppers spending £75 online can save £15 at Sainsburys Groceries using the new and exclusive Vouchercodes.co.uk code M7HT-3N3F-FFLJ, which expires 24th October.
There is also a new code XXCATS1 saving new customers £10 when they spend £50 on groceries at Tesco but remember that certain items - including wine by the case, tobacco, infant milk formulae and prescription medicines - are not eligible for the discount. Valid until 30th November.
Don’t forget the latest Pizza Hut Delivery code saving you 50% when you spend £35 using the code VCHP11WJB which is valid until 27th November (excludes drinks and ice-cream).
