Welcome to this week's edition of Frugal Food. We've got new and extended restaurant deals from Giraffe, Belgo, TGI Fridays, Café Giardino, Strada, Ask, Pizza Express, La Tasca and All Bar One. Plus get free Greggs food this weekend, a free 200g Galaxy chocolate bar, a free tin of Spam and wash it all down with a free bottle of Dr Pepper. Then save 20% on tea and coffee at Whittard, get £10 off a £50 spend at Sainsbury's, save 50% on deliveries at Pizza Hut, and finally, save £10 at Domino's when you spend £35 with free ice-cream to boot if you order today!

Best supermarket deals

This week we’re going to kick off with the latest Dine in for Two for £10 offer at Marks & Spencer. This time, mains include rump or sirloin steaks, beef roulade, plaice fillets and rotisserie chicken. For the pud, take your pick from various delights such as ice cream, lemon drizzle traybake, jelly globe and strawberry and rhubarb puff pie. See the full menu here. The Dine in for Two offer is valid until Tuesday 5th July.

Other M&S in-store offers include a third off selected mackerel, £1 off selected Lovely Vegetables and Simply Fuller Longer meals, plus 2 for £4 on ice cream bar multipacks.

Sainsbury’s has it’s own meal deal too – the Wine and Dine for £10 – which offers the same bargain of a side, main, dessert and bottle of wine all for a tenner, so just pick the one with the best mains and the best booze! Choose from sea bass fillets, gammon, spinach and ricotta cannelloni and cottage pie for the main and for the plonk, you could buy a Heritage Road Chardonnay or Merlot, Mondelli Pinot Grigio Blush, or a Sainsbury’s Taste the Difference Primitivo. Other bargains available at Sainsbury’s are 77p off Dr.Oetker Casa Di Mama Diavola Pizza (now £2), BOGOF on McVitie's Golden Syrup Cake (usually £1.45 each), Sainsbury’s Spicy Chorizo Ring for £2 (was £2.39) and Sainsbury's Somerset Brie for £1 (was £1.79).

At the Co-op, grab half-price Discovery tortillas (now 81p) and Discovery Mexican fajita seasoning mix (reduced from 79p to 39p). It’s also BOGOF on 200g Nescafe Gold Blend coffee refills (usually £5.89 each) and you can buy half price variety packs of Quavers and French Fries (now £1.82 each). And, if you want to get into the Wimbledon spirit, The Co-op strawberries are half price at £2 for 400g, British double cream is only £1 for 300ml and The Co-op Truly Irresistible meringue nests are also £1 – all until 5th July only.

Various items in the Free From range at Tesco (free from wheat, gluten and milk) are on offer including bagels, muffins, crumpets, and sliced white bread, (all reduced from £2 to £1.60), plus pitta breads (reduced from £1.50 to £1.20) and multiseeded bread (reduced from £2 to £1.70).

Other good buys at Tesco include Tesco Carvery lamb leg with garlic and rosemary for £8.49 per kg, Tesco Organic lamb chops for £5 (was £6.50) and £1 off diced venison and venison shoulder steaks (now £4 for 350g).

Over at ASDA, salmon fillets have been reduced to £8 per kg (was £12), Southern Fried chicken mini fillets are only £2 (was £3), it’s 2 for £4 on ASDA Extra Special goose fat (saving you 40p) and Special K cereals are reduced from £2.99 to £2 – if you don’t fancy original Special K, try it with red berries, oats and honey, or strawberry and chocolate.

And, for a sweet treat, it’s 2 for 80p on Kit Kat fingers (usually 54p each), Kit Kat Chunky (usually 50p each), Rowntree’s Fruit Pastilles (usually 50p each) and Rowntree’s Randoms (usually 48p each).

LIDL’s half price weekend deals, available on Saturday and Sunday only, include Fox’s Crunch Creams for 37p (was 75p), Vintage Reserve cheddar cheese for £1.44 (was £2.89), 3 mixed peppers for 79p (was £1.59), fresh vine tomatoes for 99p per kg (was £1.99) and a 500g pack of British beef mince also for 99p (was £1.99). Plus, get celery for 50p (was 69p), fresh galia melon for £1 (was £1.59) and chicken leg quarters on special offer at £1.99 per pack, only while stocks last.

Finally, top buys at NETTO include variety packs of Walkers French Fries, Squares and Seabrooks Crisps (20 packets) for only £2 each, Treefield pure set or clear honey for £1.29 each and for big families, 10kg of long easy cook rice for a mere £7.49 and 180 Tetley tea bags for £2.12.

Tipple

Yourfavouritewines.com is offering 50% off both Nobilo Limited Release Reserve Sauvignon Blanc, reduced to £5.09 per bottle, and Isla Negra High Tide Cabernet Sauvignon, reduced to £5.99 per bottle. You can also save 20% on various Hardy’s wines and Kumala wines including this Merlot (now £4.69) and this Pinotage Shiraz (now £4.99).

If you want cheap rose, ASDA has reduced the price on several bottles including Jacob’s Creek Shiraz (reduced from £6.78 to £5), Via Vecchio Rose (reduced from £6.96 to £4), Beringer Zinfandel Rose (reduced from £6.16 to £5.16) and Black Tower Rose (reduced from £5.48 to £4).

Then at NETTO you can buy Bombay Sapphire gin for only £12.99 and Famous Grouse whisky for £10.99. Both offers are only available this weekend (Saturday and Sunday) so don’t miss out.

Cut-price snacks

Fill your belly with some free Greggs food with The Daily Star newspaper every day until Sunday 3rd July (costs 25p weekdays, 55p on Saturday and £1 on Sunday). The vouchers are only valid on the same day – today (Friday) you can get a free jam doughnut, on Saturday it’s a free mini pizza and on Sunday it’s chicken lattice.

Get a £1 coupon for Seabrook 'Goodbye Salt Hello Flavour' crisps (6-pack) when you register on the Seabrook website. Promotion closes 17th July.

Also, if you’re looking for a treat for your kitten, get 50% off your first Whiskas Kitten pouches purchase when you register your details on the Whiskas Kitten website.

And remember, the sale at Whittard has up to 50% off selected items for tea and coffee lovers. Or if you’re more of a chocolate addict, go to Thorntons where you can also save 50% on various sweet treats.

Voucher codes

There’s a new code for first-time shoppers online at Sainsburys Groceries. Use the code DT39-TCJG-VHXX for £10 off when you spend £50, which expires Sunday 31st July.

Also new this week, at Pizza Hut spend £35 and get 50% off using the code FSCP7W2PK which expires Sunday 3rd July.

Or, save £10 on a £30 spend at Dominos Pizza online using the code WWUFFDNG, also valid every day until Sunday 3rd July. Even better, you can use it with the free ice cream offer on Fridays which I mentioned last week – if you spend £20+ on a Friday you get a free 500ml Ben & Jerry's 500ml ice cream. Choose from Caramel Chew Chew, Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Cookie Dough and Phish Food.

Online only, save 20% on all tea and coffee at Whittard using the code JTC20 at the checkout before it expires at 2pm on Monday 4th July.

New Ocado shoppers can still save £15 when they spend at least £75 and use the code VOU1146975, valid until 30th November.
