Welcome to this week's edition of Frugal Food. We’ve got new and extended restaurant deals from STRADA, All Bar One, Pizza Hut, Prezzo, Zizzi, ASK, Cafe Rouge and Pizza Express. We’ve also got a great Ben & Jerry's deal, bargain port, wine and lager, a 2 for 1 deal on cooked breakfast, 10% off posh chocs, a new Morrisons voucher, our top 10 economy food picks, over 50% off tickets to MasterChef Live, and a Tastecard for under £30!
Welcome to this week’s edition of Frugal Food. Let’s kick things off straight away with the best grocery deals around.
Best supermarket deals
This week, I'm going to start with the best deals at Sainsbury's. 200g bags of Seriously Strong grated cheddar are down from £2.38 to £1; and six-packs of Muller Rice are reduced from £3.29 to £2 each.
A range of Young's frozen fish products - including these 20-packs of fish fingers - are currently half-price. And although these Loyd Grossman 'pasta sauces for one' are normally £1.29 each, you can currently pick up two for £1.
Finally, several varieties of tinned chocolates are still half-price, at just £5.
At Tesco there's a better-than-half-price deal on satsumas, and another good deal on Muller Rice (six-packs are £2 each).
A range of Dr Oetker Ristorante pizzas are reduced from £2.58 to £1.29 each; and several varieties of Napolina pasta sauce are down from £1.99 to 99p a jar. Finally, Tesco is running the same deal as Sainsbury's on tinned chocs, with several varieties priced at £5 each.
Over at ASDA, there's a 2 for 1 deal on Yeo Yalley yoghurt multi-packs, and one on Fray Bentos pies.
Finally, there's a fantastic offer on several varieties of Ben & Jerry's: 500ml tubs usually cost £4.18 each, but you can currently grab two for just £3!
Top deals at Morrisons include Pizza Express pizzas, down from £4.99 to £2.99. You can also pick up 2l bottles of Fanta or Sprite for £1 (down from £1.66); and if you like a good fry-up, you can get this breakfast meal deal for £4.
At The Co-op, you can pick up a 400g Nestle Dairy Box of chocolates for £3, down from £6.50.
Meanwhile at Netto, you can grab boxes of After Eights for £1, 1l bottles of Robinsons squash for 59p, medium pumpkins for £1 each, 10 Young's fish fingers for 47p, and nine-packs of Kit Kats for just 89p.
LIDL top offers include 1kg of baby potatoes for 49p, 1kg of clementines for 99p and Muller yoghurts at 25p.
And finally - over at ALDI, Super 6 fruit and veg deals include whole cucumbers, whole swedes, 1kg of onions, 1kg of new potatoes, 1kg of carrots and 500g of broccoli - all for 39p each.
Tipple
At Tesco, this Croft Indulgence port has been reduced from £11.99 to £5.99 - perfect if you're already stocking up for Christmas.
ASDA has a range of wines - all around £8 a bottle - currently on sale at three bottles for £10.
And at NETTO you can now pick up 16 440ml cans of Carlsberg for just £8.

Cut price snacks
Visit IKEA on 8th-12th November and you can grab a 2 for 1 deal on breakfast.
This means you'll be able to get two full cooked breakfasts - each consisting of a scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, hash brown, baked beans and tomato - for a total of just £1.55.
There's no voucher; you just walk in and claim the deal. Just be aware that it's not on offer at IKEA Dublin.
Finally, you can still get a free glass of coke when you register with Yates’s pubs. Just sign up here, print the voucher and take it to your nearest branch to claim your drink.
Voucher codes
You can now get 10% off orders at Hotel Chocolat when you enter the code VCTRICK at the checkout.
The code is only valid until 24th October, on online orders.
This week's supermarket voucher is actually newspaper-based: Buy The News of the World on 24th October (Sunday) and you'll find a £5 voucher to spend at Morrisons.
Bear in mind you need to spend at least £40 to redeem the voucher, which is valid 24th-30th October. And certain items are excluded from the deal, including prescription medication, tobacco, fuel and gift vouchers.

If you become a fan of the Tastecard over on Facebook, you'll be able to get over 50% off tickets to watch MasterChef Live.
Tickets are normally £20.50 - but as a Tastecard Facebook fan, you'll be able to grab them for just £10 each. Click the 'like' button at the top of the Tastecard Facebook page, then visit the 'offers' tab to claim the deal.
And sticking with the Tastecard theme, if you don't already have one, you can currently sign up for just £29.95, a saving of £40! Just enter the code EMAILER on the website and you'll then be sent your card which entitles you to 50% off your total food bill at hundreds of restaurants!
