Latest views on inflation

Several pundits are reasonably relaxed about the inflation outlook.

Just read a good piece over on Citywire. It's a round-up of views on yesterday's inflation numbers. The general tone is 'we're not too worried.' I'm a bit more concerned - I think a base rate rise during the next six months looks likely - but I don't think prices are set to soar.

I still think that a double-dip recession is much more likely than double-digit inflation.
