Groups is our latest addition to the site and is the place to tap into a community of like-minded people who can offer you advice and tips on almost anything you can think of! Whether you have questions about personal finance, about the site, or any other topic, there will be a relevant group to help you find an answer, or you can request for a specific group to be created.
You can find the 'Groups' link in the footer of the page.
You can use the Featured group and Browse groups sections on the right to find a group that you’re interested in. You'll need to join a group to participate.
Groups are arranged in three tabs at the top of the page:
- ‘Just you’ contains activity from groups that you've joined. You will need to join a group to see activity here.
- ‘ People like you’ contains groups that we think you might be interested in because people with a similar profile to you have joined them.
- Finally there’s the ‘Everyone’ tab which has activity from all groups.
This should help you to follow the activity in groups you’re already interested and also to discover new groups.
Taking part in a group is easy.
Click on the group you’ll like to participate in, make sure you are logged in and ‘Start a new discussion’ to ask your question.
If an answer has been helpful to you, you can mark it as such, which will help other users to find useful posts more easily as it’s possible to filter by most helpful, most popular and newest posts.
