Some crazy people out there

Some right-wing US bloggers have really lost the plot...

I think US politics is much more interesting than the UK's at the moment.

Sure, we have an election here. But in the US, there's real political drama. There's a President who has the potential to go down as one of the  greats, and at the same time a large chunk of the Republican party is losing the plot. Don't believe me? Well, I suggest you spend times on blogs such as The Daily Dish and I think you'll change your mind.

Reading around  tonight, I quickly found two examples of craziness. There comments don't come from politicians, but I'm in no doubt that these two posters aren't alone in their views:

Confederate Yankee:

Palin's view of nuclear weapons was shaped by her stint as the commander in chief of the Alaskan National Guard, our first line of defense against Soviet nuclear weapons. Obama has held his same views since he was a stoner college student and has showed no signs of maturing.

Ricardo4max:

"So 1984 comes in 2010, 26 years later than predicted but more insidious and far more scary than the fictional tale. Notonly has a lifelong radical Marxist (who successfully hid much of his background) been able to take control of the office of the President, but he has been supported by a huge political machine....  and, incredibly, had nearly the entire media acting as a propaganda tool for him and the coming totalitarian regime....

"The economy here in NE Florida is horrible. The economy elsewhere in the US is horrible. Obama and his gang of radical left wing thugs is intentionally destroying this country in order to transform it into his Marxist utopia. He is a very mentally disturbed man, as all other notorious dictators in history have been Wake up America."

It's kinda funny. Kinda depressing too.

The comments on the Daily Mail website are just bad. Think comments as insane as that... but on British soil.
