Many of you are already aware of our Twitter accounts, @Frugal_Friday and @lovemoney_com where we highlight new articles and offer money-saving tips.

Now we’re expanding our social media horizons. Our financial blogger Ed Bowsher recently highlighted that people should be using Facebook for their personal finances and so, on Monday we launched our own lovemoney.com Facebook fan page.

This page highlights some of our best content which can help you build a better relationship with your money.

We would love it if you would join us and become a fan! In fact, we would love it so much we are launching a competition where our Facebook fans can win some lovemoney.com goodies.

Competition rules

Please read this information carefully. This free prize draw is open to all UK residents aged 16 or over except for employees of lovemoney.com, their families, agencies or any other company directly connected with the administration of this promotion, who comment on the lovemoney.com Facebook fan-page using a valid Facebook account.

1. All registrations must be completed by 1st March 2010, to be valid entries in the draw.
2. Only one entry per Household. Third party registrations will not be accepted.
3. The decision will be made on 2nd March 2010.
4. There are three prizes of lovemoney.com goodie-bags to be won.
5. The winner will be chosen by the lovemoney.com social marketing team from entries received and the winners will be notified by direct message within 96 hours of the actual draw date.
6. No alternative prize is available and the prize is not transferable.
7. By entering the free prize draw, entrants agree to be bound by the rules and by any other requirements set out in promotional material.
8. The promoter (lovemoney.com) reserves the right to amend terms and conditions of the prize draw or cancel at any time in the event of fraudulent activity.

    I am a member of facebook already and have clicked every link in the article above to try to find the fan page to join and it doesnt seem to exist. I cant find it anywhere on facebook!!

    I'm sorry you weren't able to access the fan page. If you search for lovemoney.com in the Facebook search function it should be the top search result. Hope that's of some help.
