A couple of updates to the site to mention. We've launched the first phase of our new mortgage search engine and added an inside lovemoney.com area.

There are a couple of exciting new additions to the lovemoney.com fold that you should check out.

First off, we're launching the first version of our brand new mortgage search engine today. Here's a couple of grabs:

To quote Gav (our online services director) and Verity (managing the project) :

"Our aim is to make it really simple for everybody to sort through the mortgages on offer at the moment and find the right mortgage for them.

As well as the option to do this online we'll still be offering the option to call our team of mortgage experts for help over the phone or by email.

The new online mortgage engine has a 4 step process:

1.) You tell us your basic requirements
2.) You enter some information about yourself and this filters out products that are not relevant for you
3.) You enter the type of mortgage you are looking for
4.) You select a shortlist of mortgages and compare them

After this, you'll be able to download relevant documents and continue your application if you like any of the mortgages on offer. We'll be adding more functionality over the coming weeks, so watch this space."

Secondly, we've launched an inside lovemoney section of the site. Here's a grab:



At the moment it's the home of customer services and media centre (press stuff.)  Longer-term we'll be adding more content to give you all a better look behind the lovemoney.com brand. We hope you enjoy the animations and that it proves to be a helpful addition to the site for you.
