Commenting on this blog

When we launched this blog as part of our brand-new, in-progress website, we prepared ourselves for low traffic stats, at least right away. But we've been pleasantly surprised. Our stats tell us that this blog attracted several hundred different pairs of eyes in January!

For us, that’s wonderful news. We intended our blog to be a consistent, open forum for us to talk about the website and its development, but we weren't sure how many people we would be talking with. As it happens, the conversation is growing, which brings us to the question that keeps landing in our inbox...

"Why can't I comment on the blog?"

Fair point. We are very aware of (and a little uncomfortable about) the fact that as yet, you can’t comment directly on the blog. We realise this is something you would most likely want (nay, expect) to do and it is our intention that you will be able to do this.

So why can't you comment, then? Well, it's not because we don’t love you!

In fact, it's because we have decided against an off-the-shelf blogging platform like blogger or wordpress. Nothing against these (fantastic) products, but we have decided to build our own blogging platform. This is therefore, quite literally work in progress, and the commenting feature is simply not yet ready!

But if you keep coming back... and of course we think you should... you will soon be able to have your say. And trust us, we'll be listening.
