We've made a number of changes to Lovemoney to improve the site.

Lovemoney just got better

As you’ll have noticed, the Lovemoney site looks rather different today. So what’s changed?

Signing up

The process of joining Lovemoney has been made far easier. It now only takes a few minutes, and you can even sign in through other sites like Facebook, Yahoo, Google and MSN.

Track

Our Track feature – which allows you to keep on top of your credit cards, savings accounts and bank accounts in a single place – has also been revamped.

We’ve listened to your feedback, which is why you can now personalise and split transactions into different categories, create specific categories and even add your own offline accounts.

It’s a much more personal service now.

If you haven’t seen the new and improved Track, head over to Track now.

Pictures

Previously, if you wanted to have a specific picture appear next to your username when you left a comment or asked a question, you needed to have an account set up on Gravatar.com.

We’ve changed this so that you can now upload a picture directly to Lovemoney – there are no third parties to deal with.

Head over to your account settings.

Plans

Our new service Plans is nearly here. It’s a way to keep on top of all of your financial accounts and paperwork – not just your savings and bank accounts, but investments and pensions too, and all in a single place.

To start with we’ll be opening the Plans service as an exclusive, invitation-only service. But you can now register your interest in being one of the first to take part.

This is just stage one in a series of exciting enhancements to the Lovemoney site, which we hope to launch in the New Year, including changing the look and feel of our editorial. So stay tuned!

    Com'on guys - whats going on with support - please get it together! I've followed your instructions to only send email to support. I have been unanswered for over a month even though I have been chasing on a weekly basis.

    Has support of this product stopped?

    Yes, you read that right.

    Up until recently, I was able to check blogs I had replied to using the 'Recent Activity' link, yet this has now been a cause for concern ever since the 20th March 2013. This is the date of the last entry shown.

    When I reply to new blogs, it gets prepended to start of this list, yet when I revisit this page a few hours later, it is back to COMMENTED: 20 MAR 2013.

    A month later, and still no change.

    Support? Well, I did send off an email to LoveMoney support, and did get an email saying that the site code would be updated this Wednesday just gone, but still... COMMENTED: 20 MAR 2013

    So, how does this affect me? Well, I use the 'Recent Activity' as a way to monitor blogs I have an interest in, and to see what other comments other LoveMoney readers have left. At the moment, the only way to track recent blogs is to use email links.

    Of course, there could be a limitation issue, since I have 598 comments already, but surely the code should allow more than 600 comments?

    I hope a member of the LoveMoney staff reads this post, and can do something about this, because this site is suddenly becoming extremely hard to keep track of. Being able to review your previous posts, and seeing what others have written, is a prime function of this site, and the recent inability to do this without outside references (emails), means it is becoming a burden rather than a pleasure.
