Now the sun is starting to come out, it’s a great time to get your garden furniture sorted out. Head over to BHS, where you can enjoy discounts of up to 50% on a host of garden furniture.

Alternatively get yourself over to Homebase where not only can you get garden furniture at half price, but barbecue sets are also available with a 33% discount!

Books & games

I’m planning on spending my weekend reading in the garden to take advantage of the improving weather. So here are some of the best book deals in the market today.

• Acclaimed author Michael Connelly’s latest crime thriller, the Scarecrow, is a new release in paperback but you can pick it up for the bargain price of £3.99, saving you more than £4, if you head over to Amazon!
• However if you’d prefer to get your teeth into something meaty, then head over to the Book Depository, where you can get your hands on The Greatest Show on Earth: The Evidence for Evolution by Richard Dawkins for just £4.48, a saving of £4.51.
• If you’d rather have something a little more light-hearted for your reading material, then the Book Depository is again a good bet, with comedian Richard Herring’s How Not To Grow Up: A Coming of Age Memoir, Sort Of available at the knockdown price of just £5.99, a saving of £6.

But if you’re a gamer, then you might prefer to go for one of these deals:

• It’s just a matter of weeks now until the World Cup, and what better way to celebrate than by snapping up FIFA World Cup 2010 on the Xbox, which you can get from Coolshop.co.uk for £34.72.
• Alternatively if you want a new PS3 game, get yourself over to Zavvi, where you can pick up Lost Planet 2 for £23.45 – a saving of £16.54.
