The hunt for Britain's Oldest Boiler

If you think you might be the owner of the oldest boiler in Britain, you could be in with a chance of winning £3,000!

If your boiler is looking a little worse for wear, chances are you may have considered taking part in the government’s boiler scrappage scheme, which was launched back in January. The scheme offers anyone who has an old G-rated boiler £400 to go towards the cost of a brand new, energy efficient boiler.

So far the scheme has proved pretty successful, and on the back of this, npower is now launching a nationwide hunt to find Britain’s Oldest Boiler!

So if you haven’t yet got around to replacing your boiler, now’s the time to check it out and see whether yours could be in with a chance of winning the title! What’s more, if your boiler does turn out to be the most ancient one in Britain, you’ll win a whopping £3,000 towards a brand new A-rated boiler, including installation! Can’t be bad!

So if your boiler has been in the family for as long as you can remember, or you’ve recently moved into your home and your boiler looks like it’s seen better days, simply email kate.dawson@europe.mccann.com and see whether you really are the proud owner of Britain’s oldest boiler! Good luck!
