Well, the weather seems to have improved ever so slightly this week, but let's face it, it's still pretty gloomy. So if you're feeling a little down in the dumps, hopefully this week's discounts and deals will put a big smile back on your face.
Fashion and homewares
The winter sales may be slowing down but there are still plenty of bargains to be had! Just check out these brilliant offers:
- Barratts: Many lines now half price with 70% off selected items. Up to 40% off boots and up to 10% off wellies.
- Burton: Final reductions of up to 70% off selected lines.
- Coast: An extra 20% off sale items.
- Debenhams: Up to 70% off selected lines in the Blue Cross sale. Sale ends on Sunday.
- Dorothy Perkins: Final clearance - many items £10 or less.
- Faith: Up to 70% off selected lines in the winter sale.
- French Connection: Up to 75% off a range of fashion.
- Graham & Green: Up to 50% off selected lines.
- Hobbs: Selected items reduced by as much as 70% off. Plus, if you buy the February issue of She Magazine, you can pick up a voucher for 20% off. Valid until 14 February.
- House of Fraser: Up to 70% off selected lines.
- Jane Norman: Up to 70% off selected items.
- Moss Bros: Suits, jackets and coats all reduced, with prices starting at £79.
- New Look: Up to 50% off selected lines.
- Next: The end of season sale continues with all items at least 50% off, with 70% off women's tall and plus sizes.
- Office: Up to a whopping 75% off a range of footwear.
- Oasis: Further reductions in the sale, with many items up to 70% off.
- TOPMAN: Final clearance is taking place, many items half price or better.
- Urban Outfitters: Further massive reductions, with dresses starting at just £9.99 and men's coats and jackets from £39.99.
- Wallis: Up to 70% off selected lines.
- Warehouse: Many lines just £5 or £10!
Alternatively, if you're looking for something for the kitchen, there's up to 50% off George Foreman grills at Amazon. This George Foreman Family Grill & Melt - Four Portion is now £26.91, saving you £28.01. And this George Foreman Family Grill & Bun Warmer - Four Portion is £22.02 (RRP £44.99).
There's also up to 25% off my favourite - Le Creuset Blue Cookware. So if you're after a brand new casserole dish, you can cook away until your heart's content with this 16cm Casserole Dish at £47.25 (RRP £65). And this Rectangular Dish has £20.67 off at £54.33.
Debenhams is also offering some great deals on homewares and luggage. This fabulous Opera Decanter Set is now half price at £37.50. And this Prestige Multisteamer also has 50% off at £40.
Meanwhile, if you're off on holiday in the next few weeks, you can now pick up this Large Suitcase for just £38 - a saving of a whopping £102! Or if you're after something a little smaller, this Large Holdall is just £15 (RRP £85).
Gadgets and gizmos
There are also some great deals to be had in the electrical and home entertainment department.
- So if you've got a lot of Christmas photos to print out, this Epson Stylus All in One Printer has an impressive £60 off at Amazon at £39.99.
- Alternatively, if you fancy spending the cold winter nights in front of the telly, check out the Argos sale. Here you can snap up this Alba 42 inch Full HD Digital LCD TV for £399.99, saving you £90. And this Alba 40 inch Full HD Digital LCD TV has £50 off at £379.99.
- Finally, if you fancy getting your hands on a Blu Ray player, this LG Blu Ray Player is half price at Argos at £89.99.
Books and games
If you'd prefer to snuggle up under the duvet this weekend and escape the cold with a good book, check out these offers:
- Waterstones is currently offering up to 50% off new and recommended books, as well as a half price clearance sale.
- The Book Depository is also offering up to 55% off selected bestselling books. So you can now pick up John Grisham's The Associate for £3.85 (RRP £7.99), while Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth is just £4.48 (RRP £8.99).
- Or if you fancy whipping up a feast in the kitchen, Mums Know Best: The Hairy Bikers' Family Cookbook is now half price at The Book Depository at £9.98.
On the other hand, if gaming is more your thing, you'll be spoilt for choice with these deals:
- Any Nintendo Wii fans who fancy testing out how brainy they are can enjoy Big Brain Academy for just £12.99 (RRP £19.99) at Amazon. Or if you fancy learning some groovy moves to your favourite tunes, you can snap up Just Dance for just £17.73 (RRP £29.99) at The Hut.
- Meanwhile, if you're after something for the Nintendo DS, you can now enjoy the brilliant Family Fortunes for £11.73 (RRP £19.99), and Top Trumps: Dogs and Dinosaurs for a tiny £3.73 - saving you £26.26. Both of these deals can be found at The Hut.
- If you've got any Chronicles of Narnia fanatics in the house, you can enjoy The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian for the Xbox 360 for as little as £3.95 at Zavvi, saving you £36.04.
- It's also well worth checking out the sale at Play.com for final reductions. Lost Odyssey for the Xbox 360, for example, is now £8.99, saving you £36.

Simply make your booking and bring the voucher along with you. You can pick up the magazine at your nearest Tesco store and the voucher is valid until 28 February.
