There are plenty of great offers to get stuck into this week and lots of the best deals won’t be around for long so make sure you get in quick.

This week I thought I’d mention a couple of music deals too because there are some fantastic offers including top 40 singles at 40p each at the new look HMV Digital site and Amazon. What’s more, every Friday at Amazon selected 5 MP3 albums are just £5 and you can also get Mercury Prize nominated albums such as Two Dancers by Wild Beasts for just £3.

Base has a massive boxset sale on, so if you’re feeling nostalgic The Land Before Time collection has £52 off (now £17.99) and Danger Mouse 12 disc is £16.99, saving you £33. Alternatively, if you want new comedy hits, The Mighty Boosh (series 1-3) has been reduced from £34.99 to £13.83.

    As it's Frugal Friday, I drove down the hospital and had a FREE blood test; they would do other tests involving 26 feet of plastic tubing; but I was thirsty as verified by the lady who took my blood; she said I should drink more. My blood was very thick, I think she may have been a bit thick too; but I didn't like to say - she had a very sharp needle...

    www.petprescription.co.uk are doing buy 3 Drontal worming tablets, get 1 free but it's only until the end of July, so finishes this weekend. It's on both Dog and Cat tablets and for every 3 you buy they send another one free. As it's already selling them much cheaper than the vet does, it makes it an even better deal.
