There are plenty of great offers to get stuck into this week and lots of the best deals won’t be around for long so make sure you get in quick.

Here are all the new and ongoing sales (lots are making final reductions) this week! And pay particular attention to the sale at Yoox. This store already sells end-of-season designer clothing at bargain prices but with up to 70% off in the sale this is one not to miss!

Last chance savings!

Today is your last chance to get an extra 10% off sale items at USC with the code 'FINALS'. Or if you’re after organic beauty, you can save £5 when you spend £25 at LoveLula with the code ‘LULA’. Both offers expire tomorrow 31 July.

Alternatively, get £10 of free vouchers at Argos when you spend £50 before 1 August, or a £20 voucher when you spend £100. If you spend in-store you’ll get paper vouchers, or if spend online, you’ll be emailed codes to use.  

Finally, Kids Week in the West End has been extended and will now run from 13 August to 3 September. Book via the Kids Week Ticketmaster hotline 0844 248 5151 (24 hrs) or online at www.kidsweek.co.uk which allows one child (aged between 5 and 16) to go to any participating show for free when accompanied by a full paying adult, and up to two more children can go half price.  

Books & games (& music)

This week I thought I’d mention a couple of music deals too because there are some fantastic offers including top 40 singles at 40p each at the new look HMV Digital site and Amazon. What’s more, every Friday at Amazon selected 5 MP3 albums are just £5 and you can also get Mercury Prize nominated albums such as Two Dancers by Wild Beasts for just £3.   

On to the books!  

• Get Kathryn Stockett’s The Help half-price this week at The Book Depository for only £3.98. The Book Depository also has the best price for Solar by Ian McEwan at £8.88, saving you more than £10.
• Amazon is your best bet for Audrey Niffenegger’s Her Fearful Symmetry at £3.20 and if you want Katie Price’s new book Paradise it costs just £6.99. Or for something entirely different, Stephen King’s Under the Dome is only £3.20.
• Right now, Tesco is offering buy one get one free on selected paperbacks with the code XBBOGOFX – see the selection here.

Finally, check out the best deals on games this week.

• You can get Where the Wild Things Are for the Nintendo Wii for only £10.99 at Coolshop, which also has the best price for Kung Fu Panda for the PS2 at £9.49.
• XBox 360 gamers can get hold of arcade-style Blur for £24.85 (£25.14 off) at GameGears and Stormrise for under a fiver at Base, saving you £45.
• Last, but not least, if you fancy yourself as a bit of a warbler, SingStar Take That (PS3) has £18.49 off at £11.50 at GameGears, or if tennis is more your cup of tea, Sega Superstars Tennis (XBox) is just £4.99 at Play – saving you £35.

DVDs & boxsets

Base has a massive boxset sale on, so if you’re feeling nostalgic The Land Before Time collection has £52 off (now £17.99) and Danger Mouse 12 disc is £16.99, saving you £33. Alternatively, if you want new comedy hits, The Mighty Boosh (series 1-3) has been reduced from £34.99 to £13.83.

Freebie of the week

This week you can get a smart new pair of headphones from Virgin Trains.  You will have to put up with the branding but they look pretty smart and they’re free! Download your voucher here and hand in at The Shop onboard any Virgin Trains service.

Almost freebie of the week

Twilight fans can get a free gift at www.eclipse.cafepress.co.uk. All you have to do is pledge your allegiance to either The Cullens or The Wolf Pack, then enter code ‘ECLIPSEGIFT’ and you’ll get a sticker pack freebie added to your basket – but you will have to pay £2 shipping costs.
